http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul319.html Much can be learned by understanding what the rising dollar price of gold means. Indeed. Ron Paul is, in my estimate, the least evil. It has been said, often enough, that the choice between two evils is still evil. If the evil one removes choice, then, in my opinion, that one is the greater evil compared to the ‘opposition’ who does not remove choice. From another angle: I met, rather attended a lecture by, Ron Paul. Based upon that lecture my estimate is that Ron Paul would make a fine baby sitter for my kids. I trust him enough to put him on the short list. In fact, I’d rather send my kids to him for instruction rather than to the Christian School Teachers where my daughter is now sitting and certainly choose Ron Paul over the High School Teachers baby sitting my 17 year old son. Unfortunately Ron Paul doesn’t offer his services as Baby Sitter. If he did I’d probably be priced out of that market. I remember this about Ron Paul’s lecture: On the subject of supporting the Troops: Bring them home. I do have a problem with Ron Paul’s perspective on gold. The problem is not a deal breaker. It is a simple matter of principle. A matter that can be negotiated privately on a case by case basis and ‘in practice’ my estimate is that Ron Paul would probably give no more than he takes. Furthermore it is my opinion that ‘somehow’ I would come out ahead in the game. I call that respect. I’m not always the stupid one. After all, gold earns no interest and its quality never changes. It’s static, and does not grow as sound investments should. I read the above as: Gold does not produce more gold - which it does so long as the gold is used to finance productive gold mining i.e. Gold mining that actually does produce more gold. A minor point to be sure - on the surface. What is under the surface? I have an interest in mining under the surface to look for more gold. Buying gold and holding it is somewhat analogous to converting one’s savings into one hundred dollar bills and hiding them under the mattress – yet not exactly the same. Both gold and dollars are considered money, and holding money does not qualify as an investment. There’s a big difference between the two however, since by holding paper money one loses purchasing power. The purchasing power of commodity money, e.g., gold, however, goes up if the government devalues the circulating fiat currency. Money is a generic term, it seems to me, and practically useless, because there are two separate and distinct forms of money. One is one thing. The other is another thing and the two are so vastly different that one cannot be the other ever. One works well as one thing because of what it is and the other works well, doing what it does, because it is the other thing. I’ve already read through Ron Paul’s address to Congress and the distinction becomes very clear. Digging deeper: Holding gold is protection or insurance against government’s proclivity to debase its currency. The purchasing power of gold goes up not because it’s a so-called good investment; it goes up in value only because the paper currency goes down in value. In our current situation, that means the dollar. Notice the words “Currency” and “current situation”. That is one form of money. Notice the words “protection or insurance”. That is the other form of money. In physical terms: One form is Energy. The other form is Power. One form is ‘static’. The other form is ‘dynamic’. My earlier claim concerning money as two separate and distinct forms can be seen like this: An electric battery is static. It stores energy. A light bulb cannot be charged with the battery. Place the light bulb on the floor and drop the battery on the light bulb. Place the battery on the floor and hold the light bulb near the battery. Try as you might the battery will not charge the light bulb. The energy or insurance contained in the battery is static. The power required to light the bulb is stuck in the battery. A good battery will save the energy for a long time. A poor battery will waste the energy quickly. The power saved in a poor battery will evaporate, so to speak, and the insurance policy will be canceled. Note: The energy or charge in the battery will go somewhere. It will be power that is lost or even power that destroys. A very poor battery may end up electrocuting the hapless owner of the poor battery. One of the characteristics of commodity money – one that originated naturally in the marketplace – is that it must serve as a store of value. Gold and silver meet that test – paper does not. Because of this profound difference, the incentive and wisdom of holding emergency funds in the form of gold becomes attractive when the official currency is being devalued. It’s more attractive than trying to save wealth in the form of a fiat currency, even when earning some nominal interest. The lack of earned interest on gold is not a problem once people realize the purchasing power of their currency is declining faster than the interest rates they might earn. The purchasing power of gold can rise even faster than increases in the cost of living. Commodity money is like trying to make a battery light up a light bulb. To see this clearly it is important to understand both forms of money. My efforts so far have ignored the dynamic form of money. I’ll get to that presently. The battery trying to light the bulb is much like a person trying to pay for a news paper with a bar of gold. One might say: It could happen. I might say: Like getting electrocuted. The battery trying to light the bulb is like trying to buy a house with a box full of gold. Again it can happen but don’t drop the box on your foot. The battery trying to light the bulb is like trying to buy a Senator’s vote for your corporation. It can happen, again, but the Senator may just take the gold and vote his conscience. How are you going to explain all that gold? Besides the current situation concerning Senator’s votes is driven by oil; there is a lot of energy in oil. Gold has none. The belief that money created out of thin air can work economic miracles, if only properly “managed,” is pervasive in D.C. Currently; the current situation is that a miracle is an individual concept. One could say: “It is a miracle to note just how stupid the average American citizen has become.” I would say: “It is miraculous just how unconscionably low a human being can stoop” So low that he, or she, can crawl under a snake while wearing a top hat. Make no mistake. I admire Ron Paul. He is a principled man, a giant, among unprincipled midgets, a stand up guy in a fallen down place, and a shining example of human excellence mired in a false world. Empathy is my message here and now. Not pity. Some day I may reach a point where I will see the minor contentions of principles, that we do not share, resolved. Not only that, paper money has worked surprisingly well in the past 35 years – the years the world has accepted pure paper money as currency. Currently; the current situation is such that paper money continues to work surprisingly well. The reason for this is that currency is not money. Currency is currency. Currency is not the battery. Currency is the current. Currency is power. Currency is the dynamic. Currency lights the bulb. If it is not currency, then, the bulb does not light. There is nothing surprising, despite what the professor may say, that currency lights the bulb. It does so because it is power. Currency is power. The form, the label, the nomenclature, and the ‘idea’ is the energy, the static, the battery, and the insurance policy; it is not the power. Change the name, change the idea, change the label, and change the form of the battery and that ‘theory’ remains a static entity doing nothing. However, and this is important, once the currency moves from the “theory” and the “Battery”, the insurance policy, once that starts happening, then, the power flows and things get done. The important thing to be illuminated is, in a term, ‘the paper trail”. Be it a battery powering a light bulb and the trail will be wires. That is a circuit. That is the ‘society’ evolving from the idea. Be it a pile of gold powering an economy and that trail will be, as it was, a circuit of dirt roads in a primitive society. Robbers hid and pounced at every turn in that circuit where no ‘insurance policy’ could protect the flow of trade i.e. the current flow of commerce. Such is one problem associated with the primitive practice of using a store of value as a form of currency. One is a battery. The other is a currency. This removes the problem of obtaining gold to back currency, and hence frees politicians from the rigid discipline a gold standard imposes. It is difficult to charge a light bulb with a battery. It is also very difficult to store a charge in a light bulb with a battery. As soon as the battery is disconnected the charge is no longer in the light bulb. As soon as the energy is gone; everyone dies. That is important. That is so important that every living organism must understand exactly what that means or that living will cease to live. The financial crisis, looming on the horizon, is a crisis concerning currency not energy. Energy is abundant. The Sun is not going to fall from the sky; unless ‘The decider” decides to unleash the energy contained in those ‘bunker buster’ energy storage units. If he does decide to do that, then, the “Peak Oil” problem will become a current form of currency, a missile traveling a path, currently heading to a place where a huge transfer of energy will occur that could start a chain reaction, where China retaliates, and enough conversion of energy occurs to blot out the sun. That is important. Everyone dies. Except ‘the decider’ perhaps as much of ‘our’ currency has been used to transform oil energy into bunkers that can’t be busted by the current, made for T.V., ‘terrorists’. The point is that ‘the problem’ is not energy so much as it is ‘currency’. If the problem is ‘paper currency’, then, taking it away would solve the problem. What differences does it make to have a Sun currently supplying us with the energy needed to survive while we utilize that energy in whatever form we find useful and then having no means to utilize that energy because someone finds our particular currency to be ‘the problem’ and how is that any different than the Sun being blotted out by “Nukular” radiation? We all die anyway. People need currency. Currency is the means by which unusable energy is converted into usable energy. Currency is power. Each individual entity, or living organism, must have the power to convert unusable energy into usable energy. We must have currency. By ‘someone’ I mean anyone. Anyone ‘deciding’ not to use currency in any form whatsoever will still need to eat. Such a person, anyone, can decide not to use any currency and soon enough that person can decide to find food, eat food, and survive without currency. Even still; that person uses currency. The food travels, currently, from the source and turns into shit; eventually. If it does not, then, the currency stops flowing. The organism dies. Life ceases. Since gold has proven to be the real money of the ages, we see once again a shift in wealth from the West to the East, just as we saw a loss of our industrial base in the same direction. Though Treasury officials deny any U.S. sales or loans of our official gold holdings, no audits are permitted so no one can be certain. Money? My contention is this: Money is storage of value, an insurance policy, storage of energy, a static savings or it is currency. It is not both at the same time. If the form of money tries to accomplish both jobs as commodity money, then, it cannot do both jobs well. Commodity money will store well or it will flow well. It will be either a good battery or a good currency. If a problem does exist concerning money, then, one needs to look no further than the people who are empowered with the enforcement of money. The paper trail leads to them. If ‘they’ are the problem, then, ignore them and use better money. That is simple. Use e-gold. Use the Yaun. Use the euro. Use a personal check. Use a credit card. Use a debit card. Use a stack of frequent flier miles. Use Whiskey. Use corn. Use gold. Use Paypal. Use a Swiss Bank account. Use whatever still works but do not frame the problem contained within the enforced demand of one certain money by a certain person or group of people who just happen to have power over oil and your mind. Use your own mind; it is your bank. Use your own currency, whatever you find that works, and don’t worry one bit about the Sun falling from the sky. The paper trail leads to the exact source of the problem. Look at your pay stub. Where are you sending all your earnings? The flow of currency keeps flowing. Stop it, reduce it, whatever, but don’t give up on everyone else who still wants to trade. You, we, will still need some form of currency and we do not necessarily need to store anything for very long. Fruit rots. Vegetables rot. And when Gold can’t manage to compete with better forms of currency, then, gold rots too. But the fact that gold has gone from $252 per ounce to over $600 means there is concern about the future of the dollar. Compare that to this: After all, gold earns no interest and its quality never changes. It’s static, and does not grow as sound investments should. That is important. A jump in ‘value’ from 252 to 600 is NOT interest. The ‘value’ is in knowing why the jump occurred. Knowing why will lead to knowing how and then one can understand who. If none of that understanding is processed in the mind, then, one might begin to fear rather than prepare or even better; insure against future loss. A battery is needed. Storing is needed. Future loss is inevitable. The question is: What is the best battery? How can I store best? That is a battery problem. That is not a currency problem. Gold is a very good battery if you get in when the ‘value’ is lowest. Gold is not a good battery if you ‘buy in’ when the value is highest. The Gold Standard is not so great when that ‘value’ is subjected to the whims of certain people doing certain things; inevitably. That is a battery problem. The Gold Standard is another subject. A standardized measure of value is very important. A standard measure of value is extremely important. On that briefly: If you have no standard measure of value, then, every measurement is a new measurement; like a yard stick that erases. The inch is a standard measure of value. The meter is even better. I’m running short on time now. This post is important to me for many reasons not the least of which concerns the respectable source of the interest. Power-Independence intends to address both the Battery or Storage of Value problem and the Currency problem. The Battery problem or from another angle; the Insurance against loss problem - is such: What stores the most value in the most efficient manner? The currency problem is much more complicated, and yet, it is a very similar problem: What flows best? The similarities can be described as: What is the most accurate form of money? The differences between the Battery and the Currency problem can be seen as: Can one form of money store the most value and at the same time flow best? The answer is a definitive - YES. The reader may not find my questions to be relevant and the reader may not find my answers to be comprehensible. My assumption is that the reader can at least count. How many times has the reader happened upon a situation whereby the reader counts on his fellow man, or woman, to help in the effort to supply both the necessities of life and the wants that make life worth living? One? Two? Does that make three? The Great Depression, or any depression for that matter, is a rather depressing subject. Perhaps not for those who waste not and want not. Perhaps for those who have failed to count accurately, or for those who have simply run out of luck, once or twice, the Great Depression may interest them; us. Owning gold can be made into a crime. One might say: "That is preposterous!" Note the exclamation point. I don't use those expressions often. Nuclear holocaust No exclamation point. Who cares? When judgment day arrives the chips will have fallen. Too little – too late The human experiment failed the math test. Back to the drawing board Money that contains energy can be both an efficient storage of value and a very fluid transferring value. Oil, hydrogen, and electricity are forms of energy that can be very accurate forms of money. Those forms of energy can be measured precisely as both Energy and Power – Both Storage and Currency. Example: I kilogram (2.2 lb) of hydrogen has about the same energy as 1 U.S. gallon of gasoline. http://www.rmi.org/images/other/Energy/E03-05_20HydrogenMyths.pdf Gasoline 42 – 44 MJ/kg http://www.uvi.edu/Physics/SCI3xxWeb/Energy/GasolineFAQ.html This one is better: http://www.evworld.com/library/energy_numbers.pdf gallon of gasoline 1.3x10^8 Jules Equivalent (S.I.) Note from Albert Einstein: · "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." The point is: Energy, Power, and Current, can be measured in one standard unit. Pick one. Use one. Don’t lose it. Don’t waste time and effort converting, pricing, negotiating, arguing, deceiving, obfuscating, bickering, devaluing, depressing, augmenting, adjusting, keystonning, profiting, gouging, leveraging, hording, wasting, spending, saving, investing, marking up, marking down, bargaining, estimating, accounting, taxing, re-measuring, re-adjusting, etc. Don’t waste time and energy. Measure twice and cut once. What helps is a standard measure. Pick one. I suggest the watt. It takes this many watts to earn a pay check. It takes that many watts to produce one ear of corn. One dollar equals x amount of watts. One gold bar is now worth so many watts. Last year my heating cost is half the number of watts as the previous year. The new HHO gas unit in my car reduces the cost of fuel by half as many watts. The problem will be solved with a standard measure of Energy that is also a standard measure of currency, which is also a standard measure of work, which is also a standard measure of value, which is also a standard measure of savings, which is also a standard measure of investment, which is also a standard measure of interest, which is also a standard measure of profit, which is also a standard measure of equity, which is also a standard measure of justice, which is also a standard measure of cooperation, which is also a standard measure of payment toward insurance against loss, which is also a standard measure of liquidity, which is also a standard measure of gouging, hoarding, taking, leveraging, dumping, extorting, enslaving, mastering, deceiving, conning, fraud, debasing, depreciating, inflating, inciting, propagandizing, crime, raping, murdering, and last but not least torturing. One less human being can be estimated as a loss of watts. Some may have a larger appendage than others. Some may create less friction than others. The standard by which one is measured can be standardized. Once the standard is universal, then, everyone will be on the same page. Diversity will be destroyed! We all become one and the same! On that exclamation point I end this effort with a note: The demand to conform will be eliminated once the human race is linked by a commonly embraced standard measure of value. At that point, if we do learn to count, the demand for diversity will be in short supply. People will want more diversity and less conformity. The State will struggle and Liberty will be the order of the day.

Leveling When the supply, like the supply of oneness or conformity, reaches an oversupply, then, the demand for it, the supply of demand (it), decreases. Further production of it (demand) is a waste. No one wants it (demand). Demand is too much. Please demand less. Too much (static) Too soon (dynamic) Leveling is the seeking of balance between supply and demand. In American History: Insurgents, rebels, rabble, scoundrels, subjects, and the like were, then, also called: Levelers To wit: They sought to balance the supply to the demand. They were particularly concerned about involuntary taxes and fiat currency. The levelers demanded less supply of taxes (demanded) and fiat currency (demanded). They counted on each other to supply freely to meet a freely requested demand. Those dudes could add. The rabble, the levelers, the insurgents, the terrorists, then, made war and won the war against the Sovereign King, the master, of the Free World, so to speak, then, at that moment in time, the ‘decider’ was England – the loser, the tax man, the moneyed man, the despot, the torturer, murderer, and the enforcer of fiat - lost. The same rabble, the same levelers, the same insurgents, the same terrorists, then, lost – in a very short time. The next moment in time pitted the new moneyed men, particularly Alexander Hamilton, against those who could still add. Adding it seems; can be a crime like owning gold. When conformity is enforced by people, who can add, by those same people who depend upon their ‘leverage’, their ability to add better, or deceive better, by them, they demand ignorance. Be stupid, they demand, do not add. Conform to stupidity. Conform to ignorance. The demand to conform must be enforced. That is fact. Time to diversify can only be time spent in liberty, at liberty, where the mind is free to count. One more note before moving on to the solution; in practical terms. Ignorance is half as bad as falsehood. At least the ignorant are free to count. Falsehood is a directive; a mode of accounting that sets the mind on the wrong course. Falsehood demands conformity in counting wrong. Ignorance is like having a very bad memory. One plus one equals… One plus one equals… One plus… What was I doing? You were counting one plus one. The answer is two. Why was I counting? I want what you have and you want what I have so you were counting to see if you could agree to a trade – remember? What was the answer? Two: I have an oversupply. You have an oversupply. I have a demand for your oversupply. You have a demand for my oversupply. Get it? No Take this and give me that. Why? Do you want this? Yup I want that? Why? Do you want this? Yup Take this and at the same time give me that. OK Falsehood, on the other hand, is like having a good memory of error disguised as fact. Two plus two equals six. Yes, that is right, I’ll take my half. Give me three. That doesn’t seem right! OK let’s go over this again. I have two. Right You have two Right Two plus two equals six. Right You will have to use two hands now. Five fingers in one hand and one finger in the other hand. Forget it. I’ve got things to do. Take your three and let’s move on. I’ll find another banker next time. Good luck. Moving on: Last edited on Sat Apr 29th, 2006 01:22 pm by Joe Kelley |

Jumping ahead for a moment: Suppose that the sky does fall? Parents mistrust their children. Wives misstrust their husbands. Employers mistrust their employees. Wait a minute. That is already SOP (Standard Operating Proceedure). Or so the story goes. The sky has fallen. A child can turn in their parents for whatever and their parent must do time or worse - sent to the Gulag; etc. Wives can indict husbands so on and so forth. What has happened - exactly? Has currency been outlawed? No one can measure each others relative contribution? So why even try? Be that as it may: What is the solution? Here is where energy money arrives on the scene. Suppose a person has discovered a means by which water can be made into fuel in any automobile now running. Like this: http://hytechapps.com/index.html The reader must be able to read and add. The reader must be able to convert the fuel they ate into the currency of knowledge. They must read and add. They can also watch the video. Or this: http://www.savefuel.ca/ I'd get one of those myself however I am investing in the later device as I can so far. Back to the sky has fallen scenario. Note: It has fallen in the past. Childred could send their parents to the Gulag: http://school.eb.com/nobel/micro/733_51.html One cannot add to two if one is forgotten. Unless one is lucky or gifted perhaps. The sky has fallen: One starts building a form of currency called HHO gas. Will it be illegal to get one unit for your car? It may be difficult for sure. What if? Imagination is a handy tool. One person thought so: "Imagination is more important than knowledge." http://rescomp.stanford.edu/~cheshire/EinsteinQuotes.html What if the 'seller' decides to credit anyone with trust. The one has one unit and the other has no unit and no currency. In order to move the one unit off the shelf the one can offer the unit on loan. The one unit is placed in an automobile, making room for another unit on the shelf, and that automobile is then used to deliver the next unit. Cost savings 51% per gallon of gasoline used. The one who had no currency and no unit now has a unit and that one sends the other one half of his savings as the savings accumulate. Once the accumulated savings reaches the cost of the unit, then, the one producing units can make another unit to place on the shelf. What currency is needed? Trust You must be the judge. There is more: The producer of the unit can add additional costs to each potential debtor to be used as insurance against loss due to the odd character who cannot and will not be trusted. We are after all human beings. Paper is only as good as the human beings writing on it. No more – no less. A level playing field The sky is the limit. How many units of solar panels are needed to produce more currency than the costs of production? You may have to take your shoes off.

After the Sky falls, and assuming that owning any available currency is not illegal, the HHO gas on demand units can lube the economy and do so in an exponential manner. Who could afford not to have one? Who would choose to pay twice as much for the needed fuel? If the smart ones outnumber the not so smart ones, remember it doesn’t require any capital to get one, so long as it is not illegal to trust someone, and therefore, and only considering the situation within the borders of America, then, the halves number half the automobile driving population. Suppose the average rate of consumption per car is 100 dollars worth of gasoline per week. Suppose the total number of car drivers owning the new units are 1 million. Half of one million times 100 equates to 50 million. Per week One person can’t make that many units. More people will have to be hired to make more units. More people will have to work at installing the new units. None of that requires any legal currency. It is a matter of time. The producer has to wait for the first unit to produce the new wealth before making a second unit. Meanwhile the have-nots are pouring in requests for a unit, on loan, so they too can double their mileage and halve their fuel costs too. Keep up with the Joneses. The producer has bags full of junk mail? Someone somewhere, a have, not a have-not, sends what he has, gold or a bag full of paper tickets that can transfer ownership of gold, stored somewhere, insured, safe, as solid as gold, so long as the owning of gold has not been made illegal, and that someone, somewhere, requests a piece of the action from the producer; please. That someone is inclined to trust that the bag of junk mail, the work orders, the requests for new units, on loan, trust, that that bag may actually turn into a current flow of valuable stuff, of some sort, as yet not quite definitive, certainly not dollars, remember how the sky fell, and perhaps not Euros, they went down with that sky, poor bastards, some of them are sending bags of junk mail too, perhaps the Yaun will work, perhaps not, who cares, I just want to get my unit. I’ll promise to send whatever the producer deems as an appropriate measure of value. Each unit pays for itself before next years audit. From then on the Unit makes money. Not out of thin air mind you. It makes money out of water. Perhaps the producer took some sound advice like this: http://www.lewrockwell.com/rozeff/rozeff72.html The producer banked on promises of Gold, cash, long bonds, and stocks. The sky fell so what is left? Gold and Stocks perhaps Now we arrive at a curious situation. The producer issued his own stocks, perhaps, before the sky fell. His shelves are full of new units. The world is not full of have-nots it seems. Some have invested wisely. The Gold is sitting somewhere and those who have managed to make the sky fall, but not quite blot it out yet, are eyeing that treasure with bad intent. They, or ones much like them, have made owning gold illegal in the past. Guess who owned the gold after that master stroke of genius? I can’t say. I would if I knew. There is a paper trail. So the sky fell and the wise ones have shelves full of new units. And boy do they stand to profit from this venture. Stocks are up in the top four for a reason. Meanwhile the house is dark. How is it that a Solar Panel can light a light bulb at night? They charge the battery during the day. What is the battery? I can explain that one. But it goes away when the sky falls. One might start looking for an HHO gas, on demand unit, that makes gas during the day, at home, to be used at night until the sun rises the next day, assuming that ‘they’ haven’t blotted it out yet, or, until the sky is built back up. Then the battery returns. The producer may want to make those home units next; after or as the demand for the automobile units contracts. No need to plan in obsolescence. The work force is, by then, well lubed. No need to stand in line when new units need to be made.

More on gold: http://www.lewrockwell.com/north/north453.html I’m a bit of an ass-hole, to be sure, at times when things just seem to fit into place. I have little restraint in letting the chips out, as I see them, and seeing how they fall. More on gold More on gold More on gold Like this: Don’t Stop Don’t Stop Energy is the stuff that we cannot do without. That is an easy calculation to envision and prove. Hold your breath and see what happens. Like the little word game above, chant don’t and stop like a song, then consider the energy that we cannot do without. Energy don’t It happens to be the stuff that gives us everything else we could ever want, ever need, and wish for besides life itself – a gift that cost nothing initially. Energy stop Perhaps God makes you pay in the end. I suppose it is possible that life is a loan too. But that is not the immediate concern. Gold don’t The sky falls: Gold stop Doom and gloom descends as it has in the past and perhaps more so than ever before (read Solzhenitsyn and prepare for a little value added). Anyway the new day dawns and it begins to get cold. Wouldn’t it be nice to have an abundant supply of energy? Even better: Usable energy. That is power. That is half the battle: Stored energy to burn when needed. So the unthinkable happens but you happen to have a device, there are many now, that turns the stored energy of the sun into heat for your house, heat for your water, hot showers are nice, heat for your food, and light where it is dark. All of which is power on demand, independent, at your home. No electric bill, no heating bill, no fuel bill at all. That is half the battle. Food is needed. If your neighbor didn’t bank on new energy technology but he or she did bank on the old tried and true forms of energy like wheat, corn, beef, chicken, etc., then, the other half of the battle involves that currency stuff. Yea, the sky that is supposed to be falling. The old tried and true farmer can make a deal with the new technology energy farmer. Fuel for food and food for fuel The thing is, and this is where the economics professors fail basic math, is that energy is power that can make more power exponentially. All that is needed is a simple strategy called re-investing. It works. It has always worked in the past. There is no reason why it cannot work in the future. Example: One ear of corn produces seeds. Plant seeds and they grow into more ears of corn. Now, suddenly, like manna from heaven, like money out of thin air, more seeds are available. One ear of corn turns into many ears of corn. Many ears of corn turn into an ever growing supply of corn. Too much corn is not so good. That is corn. Electricity is not corn. Electricity has what the professors call utility. Too much electricity is shocking. Think about it. If there isn’t enough of anything, then, electricity can be used to make more of anything – cheaper - some way some how. Gold? Why not? Is it better to dig for gold with a pick and shovel or dig gold with more power? That is the thing. Power Power is work – any work – anywhere – anytime. To say that there is too much power is to say that there is no need whatsoever to do work. Work is no longer needed. All the work is already done. Back to the dooms day scenario: Your house has the solar panels that make power and your house has invested some of that power to make more solar panels and now your house has more power than you can ever use because all your work is done. All of it That is not reality. Not because it isn’t physically possible. That is not reality because people are stupid. I’m a person. I am stupid. It isn’t rocket science. The reason people stop, or don’t, buy solar panels isn’t because power is not necessary it is because power is cheap now. Spend what you got now. The reason why solar panels aren’t now used to make hydrogen or the new HHO gas isn’t because hydrogen or HHO gas isn’t useful, no, it is because oil has been cheap. Has been Oil, like the corn seed, was used to drill and find more oil, the sky was the limit. Each new source increased the supply and made work easier and easier. That scenario occurred and the results are as plane as day. As obvious as night is not day and day is not night. The same expansion of the economy can occur with the new forms of energy. Energy is money only better. It makes more money and at the same time increases purchasing power. Inflation is the goal. Make so much energy that energy is costless. The goal will not enrich a single person. The goal will enrich the human race as a whole. It is a simple matter of looking at an old problem in a different light. It really isn’t complicated. The professors have been wrong. They would rather suffer Dooms Day at your expense than admit it. Either that or they have no right claiming to be professors. Get in line with the rest of the herd.
