The people demanding a legitimate democratic assignment of leadership POWER (that can be revoked by the people) hereby attest to our POWER in numbers.

We hereby assign ourselves as leaders of the free world to be counted as such by any other pretenders to the throne. Any laws made by any one of us will apply to every other of us from now on until the extinction of the human race.

Any one pretending to be above the law will be viewed by us as a person volunteering to go outside the universal law.

Universal law applies to everyone equally and blindly.

We the innocent and law abiding citizens of the world attest to our POWER in enforcing universal law by revoking all licenses now enforcing prejudice of any kind upon the innocent; we do so by signing this public petition.

No longer will the power to punish be wielded by criminals. When our number reaches critical mass - legalized crime will no longer be tolerated. We will throw the criminals out of office. No more. No less.

The thing about impeachment, if I can suggest that such a thing can exist in fact, is to stamp legitimacy to the notion that anyone can accuse anyone else of doing anything wrong regardless of how powerful or weak you or your accuser may be at any given moment in time. 

Is this too tough to understand? Example: Person A accuses person B of mass murder that rivals the worst mass murderer in history and/or not wearing a seat belt.  

Person B is investigated and the evidence suggests that the accusation could be true. Such evidence like the following: 

A.      Piles of bodies rotting in the sun.

B.      No obvious or visible seat belt in view as person B passes person A

 

We, the human race, surely can’t afford to chase each other around accusing each other of every possible crime and setting in motion a frantic exponential cost that can never be paid – ever. 

We, the human race, on the other hand can’t afford to let one man start world war three because god told him it was the right thing to do? 

That last question can compare with the previous statement of fact. 

You must be your own judge on this one, cause, the other judges have abdicated.

Before moving on with my chores today I am going to write something in the effort to add some persepctive.

Before anyone even though about signing the Declaration of Independence a writer wrote something called 'Common Sense'.

Here is a bit of common sense:

The people who signed the Declaration of Independence were in on it. I can explain further. Those people didn't have as much to fear as you.

I understand this to be true, yet, I signed.

Why do you not sign?

No pressure. I'm not suggesting that you should sign. It cannot be denied, ever, that the petition did not exist. You can sign it.

You have that choice.

You may not have that choice in the future.

I sometimes read something profound and then I misplace it.

I found it again. Where should I place it?

Elections will not prevent a president Clinton from declaring you an enemy combatant and shipping you off to Guantanamo. They won’t prevent a president Obama from sweeping up Americans and holding them indefinitely on his word alone. They won’t prevent a president Guiliani from illegally and immorally murdering millions of Iranians for no legitimate reason. They won’t prevent a president Romney from seizing your home and assets because he alleges you are impeding operations in Iraq. It won’t prevent a president Thompson from exempting himself, his entire administration and his political supporters from the rule of law. It won’t prevent any president from leaving the nation unprotected by ignoring or rewriting the intelligence to suit his or her political agenda. Anyone,

Either torture and mass murder is cause for impeachment or the rule of law has no meaning.

I think this is a test of ‘the rule of law’.

See? 

How many people will raise their hand if they had to judge the legitimacy of ‘the rule of law’? 

Example: 

Is torture and mass murder cause for action against those acts? 

Yes or No 

If the answer is NO, then, is anything worthy of action against action? 

Seat belt usage 

See? 

Did I lose anyone? 

If action against torturing mass murderers and action that intends, at least, to slow down the torture and decrease the number of mass murdered – at least – if that is not ‘justified’, then, how can enforcing a seat belt law be justified? 

The effort to impeach is not specious or symbolic. The effort intends to do something specific. Is it right or is it not right to accomplish the specific thing intended to be acted out – in fact? 

How about a simplified version? 
  1. Allow the criminal to go on committing crimes
  2. Do something to take away that POWER from that criminal
 

To suggest, if that is the suggestion, that taking away that POWER is criminal, unjustified, or perhaps unreasonable defies my sense of reason. I’m just one potential torture victim who may be murdered by that specific criminal if he pleases to torture or murder me – with impunity. Then again I may merely be another ‘conspiracy theorist’ like, perhaps, Dennis Kucinich, since, he is the one trying to get the trial started – in the senate.  

Ron Paul, on the other hand, is saying that he will do this or do that if he is elected president. Ron Paul is not supporting impeachment. Impeachment is merely a trial conducted in the Senate. No trial – no impeachment. If the criminal is found innocent during the trial, then, either the criminal is supported for his crimes by the senate, or, the criminal isn’t committing crimes. My guess is that a trial in the Senate, at this time, will lead to a conviction by the public at large and the criminals will have to elect a new criminal. My guess is that more trials in the Senate will slow down the torture and the mass murder. The criminals will be too busy falsifying their crimes in the face of public exposure if more trials are conducted in the Senate as directed by the members of the House of Representatives when crimes are suspected such as the evidence may suggest; like torture victims and piles of bodies that have appeared not to have died of natural causes. When the number of torture victims reaches a number were your neighbor or your loved one is among that number, then, I suppose more support will go toward the effort to slow down the torturing. That is my guess. I’m also going to guess that being tortured may also inspire more support against torture. Being murdered is beyond my ability to guess what that may inspire.

According to this definition from Dictionary.com, the government of the United States of America is the primary source of state terrorism in the world.

Since Pelosi, Reid and the other Democratic leaders in Congress appear to be too afraid to hold Bush and Cheney responsible for their numerous crimes, the Vermont town of Brattleboro has taken matters into its own hands:

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. - The tone has changed in e-mails this Vermont town has been receiving on its proposal to issue warrants for the arrests of President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Now, more people are supporting the resolution.
Brattleboro's town offices have been flooded with 7,000 e-mails since its selectboard voted Jan. 25 to include the item on its Town Meeting Day agenda.
Some of the earliest messages received were so full of vitriol that town officials said they were worried for their safety. Some writers called Brattleboro a bastion of "liberal appeaser wimps" and "wackjobs" for even considering the warrants.

In addition to inquiries into the above grave criminal misconduct and other gross abuses of power, we urge that Judiciary Committee hearings include an inquiry into the use of false propaganda by members of the Bush administration, which has served as the source for articles in the news media that misled many of the people in the United States and elsewhere concerning the supposed “threat” posed by Saddam Hussein and the execution of the war.
