Power produced into a state of over-supply causes the price of power to drop. The limit is then a situation where power is available to every single human being who can use power at a cost that is zero. That is the human limit. The sky, or the Sun, is the physical limit. When power is produced into a state of over-supply and the cost of power reaches for zero a strange thing also happens. People increase their purchasing power. People can buy more things and work less to earn those purchases. That fact is a physical relationship concerning the cost of producing things. Power lowers the costs of production. This is easy to see. What happens to our power to earn the things we purchase when power becomes scarce? What happens when the price of oil doubles? What happens when the price of oil halves? What happens when the price of electricity doubles or halves? What happens when the price of natural gas or propane doubles or halves? The test isn’t silly. It is a thought process that requires the power to reason. We The People have that power. Our ‘leaders’ pretend to be ignorant. I think they lie. Are we guilty by association? How about a modern equivalent? A troll is a person who lurks in forums and jumps out from under his or her troll bridge posting insults and causing trouble. The troll doesn’t target anyone, mind you; the troll is very specific concerning specific things written by other people as those specific posts link the author to the reader. The troll bridge is the link between the author and the reader. The troll cannot stand by as the authors and the readers cross the bridge. The troll must interrupt that flow of data. Reason may not have anything to do with the behavior of the troll. The link I am linking to the reader is a similar example on many levels. In this case the stated reason for allowing opium to flow into China while things “Made in China” flow out of China is “Profit” and not merely an equitable profit (whereby everyone profits some) these “Profits” are enormous for specific people at the expense of specific people. The reason for this type of currency flow is unreasonable when employing human moral conscience. Even the employment of the scientific method cannot offer a reasonable explanation for this type of currency flow. Gold flows from one country into another country as things “Made in China” flow from one country to another country. If this type of ‘deficit’ continues for long the Gold will pile up in China until such time as people in China want to buy something that is not “Made in China”. For those who are not in China and for those who are using Gold to buy things ‘Made in China” the amount of Gold lowers. When the amount of Gold lowers the value of Gold increases and this phenomenon is called “Economics” in general and to be specific concerning this transfer of Gold for things “Made in China” the name of this phenomenon is “Gresham’s Law”. Back at home where Gold is evaporating the home boys want currency and so they invent currency. Some of the home boys invent Whiskey as currency while other home boys invent paper (I.O.U.) currency. Then again there are even more industrious home boys who invent something called “Legal Tender” and this type of currency is the stuff that is good for tax payments. An official stamp of approval is written into law concerning the special interest of “Legal Tender” and that special interest is, again, the special ability to “PAY TAXES” with “Legal Tender”. At this time the reader may decide to fix the deficit problem by printing more “Legal Tender” so as to buy more of the things that are “Made in China”. Is that a Novel Idea? RECAP: Gold goes into China as things “Made in China” flow out of China. Less Gold and more things “Made in China” exist at home due to this “Trade Deficit”. Home boys invent any currency that can fill the void while Gold becomes scarce at home. “Legal Tender” wins the competition at home for “THE” currency that can be used to “PAY” or else (taxes).
