Water is moved by the force of gravity as the moon orbits the earth causing tide changes.

Picture power harnessed above and then employed to pump water from a low lake to a high lake where both lakes are lake front properties where people retire from years of work into homes that produce their own power by Solar Panels on their roofs; you go that?

Now this community also employs wind mills and Solar updraft towers so as to make as much power as possible.

The sky is the limit.

The idea is to make so much power that no one needs any more power ever. Power flows like water – literally.

This community can reduce the price of power to nothing once the savings in power costs purchase the infrastructure just like one solar panel illustrates.

You pay for one Solar Panel. The solar panel produces power that you don’t have to pay for and eventually the savings in power costs pay for the Solar Panel. The Solar Panel may be paid off in one year and that Solar Panel may keep on producing power for 24 more years.

That same investment and return on investment can be employed toward this imaginary twin lake community. The idea behind the two lakes is to make sure that excess power is stored whenever excess power is produced. The upper lake is a battery. Whenever the community isn’t consuming available power the excess power is used to pump water from the lower lake up to the higher lake. Between the lakes the water is blocked off with a Dam. When the sun is not shinning and the wind is not blowing and the tide water generators are not keeping up with the demand for power the Dam allows water to flow through turbines from the high lake to the low lake and the pumping station is turned off until demand lowers and producing increases – again – on sunny days and/or windy days.

If all the people in town employ electric cars too, the costs in savings are enormous since an electric car currently costs 2 cents per mile compared to a gasoline car costing 13 cents per mile at current prices of gasoline and current rates of consumption (4 dollars per gallon and 30 miles per gallon).

That is at least 10 cents per mile less cost for all the miles traveled in the community where no coal is burned, no gasoline is burned, no natural gas is burned and everyone lives in a lake side community.

That could also cause the price of desalinization to drop very low so as to create even more lake side communities near the ocean where salt water can be turned into fresh water when pumping salt water to the lake side communities. Low lakes could be fresher water lakes. Upper lakes could be salt water lakes.

"Most wind turbines only start turning at three meters per second. 5-6 meters gets good energy. The UK has very good winds at 8-10 meters. Israel is much milder with 3-4 meters per second, sometimes slower. One of my small wind turbines starts producing at less than one meter per second. That is an exceptional figure.
"The same kinds of principles apply to underwater systems. If we can get more energy from slower flow we can get much more energy from faster flow," he explained.
"The Israeli government is behind other industrialized countries in setting goals and subsidies for renewable energy," Farb claimed.
Some Scandinavian countries already produce as much as 10 percent of their electricity through renewable sources. Israel hovers at around 1%.

No, there is plenty of water. The problem is that the vast majority of Earth's water is contained in the oceans as saltwater, and must be desalinated before it can be used for drinking or farming.

Large-scale desalination can be done, but it is expensive.

 

Tantalizing as desalinated water might sound, the energy costs have made it rather unpalatable.

The new wind farm will be built off the coast of Delaware, about 12 miles off the coast. That should decrease the visual distraction significantly as well as help capture those roaring atlantic breezes that average about twice that of on-land wind speeds. The field will be composed of about 150 turbines and will produce enough electricity to power about 100,000 homes at peak output.

Paul Pantone was railroaded through a series of bizarre legal maneuvers by powerful and corrupt conspirators into a State Mental Hospital in Provo Utah where he resides today.   He's supposed to be incompetent for claiming that one can fuel a car with mostly water using his system and for not getting along with fired attorneys under Utah Code 77-15-5(4-5) who betrayed him.  Never mind the over 200 GEET devices in the US currently running on mostly water.

If the thing you purchased (for 1,000 dollars) will last for 25 years, then your investment (1,000 dollars) will begin to produce POWER for nothing after the first year and that thing you invested your money on (1,000 dollars) produces 1,000 dollars 25 times.

The thing cost you 1 thousand.

25 minus 1 equals 24

You spend 1 to get 24

When people ‘get it’, then competitors will supply the information demanded by the consumers.

A community in Canada has an unusual form of solar power that can provide over 90% of the annual heating and hot water needs for the homes, despite being situated in a cold Alberta location where winter temperatures can reach -33 degrees C (-27 F).

The Drake Landing Solar Community collects solar energy in a heat storage fluid through an array of solar panels on the roof of each home and covering all of the garages at the back of each home. The heated fluid is transferred to a neighborhood energy center, and then into the ground beneath an insulated layer, where the heat is stored in the earth.

Combined together, the 52 home community is able to collect and store enough energy from the sun during the summer that the ground storage temperatures reach 80 degrees C (176 F). This heat is sufficiently insulated beneath the ground that it can be drawn from throughout the winter to provide heat and hot water.

Our favorite Terminator (and Governor of California) Arnold Schwarzenegger has just helped Tesla Motors make an announcement that's probably sending chills through traditional automaker's boardrooms. The company has just introduced a fully-electric, five passenger sports sedan dubbed the Model S, which will be selling for $60,000, and will manage 225 miles on a full charge.

 

That should also be in the 2 cents per mile range compared to a 30 mile per gallon car at 5 dollars a gallon gasoline being:

500/30 = 16.66 cents per mile.

A few other numbers to consider would be 12,000 miles per year costs.

2 cents times 12,000 miles is 24,000 cents or 240 dollars per year and that is a cost for someone who does not produce their own electricity with Solar Panels.

16.66 cents time 12,000 is 199,920 cents or 1,999 dollars per year for 1,000 miles per month or 12,000 miles per year or about 33 miles per day.

If someone is currenlty spending 100 dollars per week on gasoline, then someone is burning 5,200 dollars per year in gasoline.

The moon may also contain a potentially valuable future energy resource in the form of the isotope helium-3. Helium-3 is a small component of solar wind, streams of charged particles ejected from the sun that have bombarded objects in the solar system for billions of years, says nuclear engineer Gerald Kulcinski of the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Helium-3 exists in Earth’s interior, but there is little at the surface; planets with a magnetic field or an atmosphere — including Mercury, which has a magnetic field, Venus, which has a thick atmosphere and Earth, which has both — are protected from the plasma streams, and thus don’t accumulate the isotope. That leaves the moon as the closest object in the solar wind’s path, and helium-3 has been piling up in the regolith for 4.5 billion years, Kulcinski says.

The isotope’s importance lies in its potential to become a clean source of nuclear energy, Kulcinski says. “We never think of the moon as a source of energy, but there’s 10 times more energy in helium-3 on the moon than there ever was in fossil fuels on Earth,” he says.

Officially, China’s latest renewable energy plan sets a goal of 10 GW by 2010. That’s double the previous target. However, according to industry analysts at China Strategies LLC, China’s current pace of wind development will bring 10 GW by the end of this year, two years ahead of schedule. According to China Strategies, 20 GW is possible in China by 2010. What’s more, they foresee a total of 100 GW by 2020, an increase in wind energy of 1667%. And, they add, this may be a conservative estimate.



These figures should make critics of China’s energy policies think twice. On the one hand, China still relies heavily on polluting coal to power its factories and make the inexpensive goods that many people have come to expect. On the other hand, China is making significant strides to adopt renewable energy technologies.

The students also created a "vehicle to grid" technology. When you plug the car in, it actually becomes a storage device for the power grid. The power company would actually pay you to store their power in your car until they need it. That could add up to about $2,500 to $5,000 a year the power company would pay the driver back.



The students just need to work on making the technology cheaper.



"It's very frustrating that I'm not able and you're not able to go out and buy an electric vehicle. Something that can go 120, 150 miles which is more than enough for the average American," Baker said.

Our target is 6 kilowatts of power.  The average American home consumes about 30 kilowatt hours of power per day.  In five hours' time, this system would produce all the power a home would need.

They found Desulfurococcus fermentans in the Uzon Caldera on the Kamchatka Peninsula, an isolated spit of land in eastern Siberia that is full of volcanoes and their remnants. D. fermentans degrades cellulose from the higher plants that fall in the caldera.
