Urge Representative Ronald Ernest 'Ron' Paul to fill out the Political Courage Test

Ron Paul took the test once:

1) Explain your two main legislative priorities if elected to Congress.

Reduce the size & scope of the Fed. Gov.

2) Should your priorities require additional government funding, please explain how you intend to obtain the additional funding.

They don't!

Nov. 26, 2007 | During the past six years, leading Republicans in Congress have prioritized allegiance to a Republican president above all other governmental and constitutional concerns. But there was a time when U.S. lawmakers, regardless of party affiliation, actually voted the way of their conscience. There was a time when a president could not break the law or ignore a summons from Congress with impunity. Indeed, by the height of Richard Nixon's Watergate scandal, a number of congressmen -- including Republicans staunchly loyal to their party -- acted to uphold the law and make Nixon accountable.

Summary:

1) I don't have to follow my own rules, and if I break them, I don't have to tell you that I'm breaking them.

2)I get to determine what my own powers are.

3) The DOJ doesn't tell me what the law is, I tell the DOJ what the law is.

Why not impeach? Is it a 'secret'?

"No I don't support impeachment at this time." Ron Paul (March 12 2007?)

This is BULLSHIT. Am I lying? Is it BULLSHIT or not? How about FACTS?

A. People are being TORTURED right now

B. People are being MURDERED right now

C. Someone may or may not have told the whole truth all of the time?

Here is the question - again:

Why is Ron Paul NOT SUPPORTING IMPEACHMENT?

WHY?

Not; who is to blame for not impeaching?

This:

WHY IS RON PAUL NOT SUPPORTING IMPEACHMENT?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hLVhgm_glc

"I think that deserves investigation."

Who on this earth 'believes' that George Bush and the NEOCONS are innocent (until proven guilty)? I mean - 'they' should investigate the 'possible' 'lies' told by 'this administration' because 'we' really don't know if 'they' actually 'lied'?

See this?

Kucinich has already started impeachment proceedings. Where is the support for investigating possible crimes?

Huh?

Where is the support for slowing down the torture and mass murder - at the very least?

When is a finger going to be lifted to decrease the intensity of the torture currently being committed by the administration RIGHT NOW?

Why brush aside, deflect, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise aid and abet TORTURE AND MASS MURDER?

Congressman Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) has become the latest member of Congress to sign on as a co-sponsor of Dennis Kucinich's "Articles of Impeachment Against Dick Cheney", which were reintroduced on November 6, 2007 as H Res 799. Rep. Grijalva joins approximately two dozen other members of Congress who are taking a stand for the U.S. Constitution.

Ron?

I think Bush and Cheney should be impeached. Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has a new strategy for this to happen. If just one state House and Senate pass together a Resolution for Impeachment, the U.S. Congress will be forced to set aside all other business and deal with impeachment. This is according to the Thomas Jefferson Manual on Impeachment. I think Vermont is the best place for this to happen, but Vermonters need to speak out.

How about it Ron?

Do you really see a need to stonewall this?

The "you know you can’t win" premise lays the groundwork for perhaps the most significant psychological obstacle to libertarian electoral success: the wasted vote issue. That issue is always there, even if not brought up explicitly.

Win?

I ran for congress. The idea was not to win. The idea was to defend liberty. See the difference?

Do you want Liberty?

How about a stark cantrast?

Do you want free security?

One question is on thing. The other question is another thing. See the difference?

Indeed nothing has changed from the administration's perspective, as they have had this latest intelligence report for some time. Only this week has it been made known to the public. They want it both ways with Iran. On the one hand, they discredit the report entirely, despite it being one of the most comprehensive intelligence reports on the subject, with over 1,000 source notes in the document. On the other hand, when discrediting it fails, they claim that the timing of the abandonment of the weapons program, just as we were invading Iraq, means our pressure must have worked, so we must keep it up with a new round of even tougher sanctions. Russia and China are not buying this, apparently, and again we are finding ourselves on a lonely tenuous platform on the world stage.

Gold as currency.

This is precious:

In the Coinage Act of 1972 the Founders provided the death penalty for any government employee who debased the money. One wonders that if such a penalty were enforced today who may members of the Federal Open Market Committee would survive the month. [Ron Paul]

We completed the $12 million goal around 1:30 this morning. We've now raised over $12 million in JUST online donations...

We are over 3 hours ahead of donations on the 5th. And the graph slope looks steeper.

Message from Ron

What a day! I am humbled and inspired, grateful and thrilled for this vast outpouring of support.

On just one day, in honor of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, the new American revolutionaries brought in $6.04 million, another one-day record. The average donation was $102; we had 58,407 individual contributors, of whom an astounding 24,915 were first-time donors. And it was an entirely voluntary, self-organized, decentralized, independent effort on the internet. Must be the “spammers” I keep hearing about!

 A Note to Principled Anarchists

That is nice.

I will try to contact the person through e-mail.

My e-mail will be very brief. Comments are here.

I am running for president and I consider myself to be a principled anarchist. I vote for myself - when able.

The problem I continue to have with Ron Paul (and so far there is only one problem) is the failure to support the rule of law with respect to the constitutional method of enforcing the rule of law.

It goes like this:

A band of torturing mass murderers happens to be torturing and mass murdering.

The leader of the group may not be known; however - one of the leaders has documented his participation - on the record and off. That person's name is Dick.

Dick has put the Dick back in Dictator.

What can be done to slow down the torture and mass murder; if not stop it.

What can be done according to the rule of law or if that is forgotten, then, what can be done according to the constitution?

Someone happened to ask and answer that question and currently that effort is underway. Congressmen and women must support the effort or the effort goes unsupported, see, can you see this as fact?

Without the support, supporting the fabricated rule of law emboldened into the constitution, the torture now continues, the torture in the next minute will continue, and the torture tomorrow and on into the foreseeable future continues - so help their God.

It does.

Why not support the constitution on this matter?

Well...Ron?

Are you lost?

Here:

 http://www.opencongress.org/bill/110-hr333/show

SponsorCo-Sponsors "They" can't be blamed for the torture and mass murder so much as the 'others' don't you see?

Business as usual even before the champion of the constitution can champion the constitution while standing as president. Is he not a congressman?

How about some more help with the economics of the issue?
Scoffing at the argument that has been made by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others in the Democratic leadership that impeachment might hurt Democratic chances in the November ’08 elections, or that it could deter Democrats from their Congressional agenda, Wexler, a six-term congressman seeking re-election, says, “I believe that there is a constitutional obligation for the Congress to hold this administration accountable, and it should not depend on what people think the impact might be on an election. The only question should be: Did Vice President Cheney abuse his powers?”
If it isn't good for the goose - huh?

To advocate for society to be organized on the basis of strict individualism, as libertarians do, is to argue that everyone has the right to do whatever he or she wants.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article18953.htm

The link, and quote from the link, is poor. It is poor because it is full of dogmatic falsehoods.

The whole 'debate' between 'right' and 'wrong' is very simple. Right is voluntary. Wrong is involuntary by deception and involuntary by violence; where - the innocent are injured - on purpose.

The 'right' can blame the left for "STUFF". What blame? What STUFF?

What, exactly, is the conviction perpetrated against "The Right"?

Do you see this?

Try an experiment. Take away the 'right' word and add the 'left' word and see what happens.

The 'left' can blame the right for "STUFF". What blame? What STUFF?

What, exactly, is the conviction perpetrated against "The Left"?

How did the experiment go?

Now take any individual who has injured an innocent person by deception and or by violence.

Did the 'collective' injure someone - on purpose?

Did 'capitalism' injure someone - on purpose?

Do you see what happens?

The 'group' (or anything) is blamed for the actions of an individual.

How convenient is that for the individual who actually does the injury to innocents?

I can't answer that question for any individual. I can help many individuals (or harm them) if I have the POWER to publish words read by many, many, people.

I don't.

I'll send this to that same web page and see if this is published on that same web page.

Why did that false blame pass the filters of reason? Why are my words rejected? Who, exactly, can be responsible?

How about a quote?

"Responsibility must be Individual, or there is no responsibility at all."  Josiah Warren (1852)

What is the real problem with INVOLUNTARY capitalism?

How about another quote?

“every individual will attempt to secure his own requirements as completely as possible to the exclusion of others.” Carl Menger (1840 -1921)

The problem arises when one individual injures another, innocent, individual by deception or by violence, on purpose, to gain at the expense of the innocent individual.

The practice of profiting at the expense of the innocent becomes exponentially more profitable as the number of victims increase.

Ron Paul has embraced an economic viewpoint. Which one?

Will he answer the question accurately or will he falsify the answer?

What question?

Will you force or fraud people into injuring innocence for profit; or will you support individual accountability?

See?

The question can be re-phrased if you can't see - yet.

Will you allow anyone to account for thier own personal actions or will you allow people to project blame onto 'others' and thereby avoid accountability for indivdual actions?

Read the quotes again. One means one thing. The other means another thing. They may not actually be opposites in all cases. Are you honestly accountable or do you 'get away with murder'?
