The Ron Paul revolution has already succeeded. It has brought a lot of attention to the libertarian ideas of peace and a limited government. It has also put a strain on the mass media, who can no longer deliver any information they want in any manner they please. Just like a real revolution the Ron Paul revolution has become a movement everyone wants to join. The real test for the Ron Paul revolution is not the victory over the GOP nomination, the question is how to win the presidency from a Hillary-Obama ticket, which will undoubtedly be seen as a dream team by the academia, the mass media, the special interest groups, the bureaucrats and the politicians.

He said he does not support network neutrality, the concept that telecommunications companies should be restricted from controlling broadband access to the detriment of Web companies like Google, nor does he support tech-friendly immigration reforms in Congress recently.

I think Ron Paul is misinformed about Net Neutrality.

The conflict exists between those who wish to exclude and those who wish to liberate. Those who wish to exclude are people who have access to the State in order to protect their monopoly of power over internet content. Those who wish to include are those who wish to ensure that those who wish to exclude do not have access to the State as a means of excluding.

In other words; if the companies wanting to maintain their power to exclude content, at their discretion, on the internet were not petitioning the State for protection or security of their power to exclude content, then, there would be no such thing as Net Neutrality - it would be left to purely market forces.

If I am right and Ron Paul is still against Net Neutrality, then, Ron Paul contradicts his stated principle of liberty.

I perceive the need to reiterate: Proponents of Net Neutrality simply want the State to keep their hands off the internet and DO NOT ENFORCE CENSORSHIP.

In other words; leave the people with the power to censor themselves.

Think about this, please, if anyone is commiting a form of crime on the interent, then, a Net Neutral internet leaves the evidence of those crimes trackable. This is the same old truth versus the same old falacy of crime and punishment. Punishing innocent people for crimes commited by guilty people is merely a means of punishming innocent people. Criminals do not abide by laws; by definition.

Is that hard to understand? Criminals do not abide by laws.

I can look further into Net Neutrality; however - I don't think this issue deserves much attention because censorship of the internet (by the State) isn't going to happen. I think it is impossible. I think internet censorship by the STATE is as impossible as making time go backwards or reassembling all the molecules blown apart during the Atomic Explosions in Japan in 1945.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (AP) — A Marine corporal testifying in a court-martial said Marines in his unit began routinely beating Iraqis after officers ordered them to "crank up the violence level."
Cpl. Saul H. Lopezromo testified Saturday at the murder trial of Cpl. Trent D. Thomas.

"We were told to crank up the violence level," said Lopezromo, testifying for the defense.

When a juror asked for further explanation, Lopezromo said: "We beat people, sir."

Why is this being reported here?

http://ronpauldelaware.wordpress.com/2007/07/16/military-favors-ron-paul-over-mccain/

What conclusions can be drawn from this surprising, exciting information? One might jump to the conclusion that the troops are tired and demoralized and angry to be fighting in the desert sand, and willing to leap on the only Republican candidate who wants an immediate end to the war. But that’s an insufficient explanation, since veterans favor Ron Paul as well.

Our military forces have a strong tradition of valorization and an implicit belief that they have served to protect the freedom of private citizens in the United States. So profound is this belief that it ranks as the #1 reason that veterans and active duty say they joined (even though education ranks as the #1 reason prior to enlistment).

This culture of pride in service particularly to safeguard American liberties and freedoms — regardless of whether it is true or not — disinclines those in service to contribute to candidates like Romney and Giuliani who want to expand Executive power and increase spying on Americans. This is why Ron Paul and John McCain are the clearest front-runners in terms of contributions. Well, that and the fact that McCain was a Captain in the Navy and Ron Paul was a flight surgeon.

Once they hear him, Ron Paul's supporters are very passionate about his message. A search of Internet "blogs" shows people writing zealously about him. Nothing could be more thrilling than to see an 18-year-old excited about the election process, shouting out support for Ron Paul, begging to hear more information about the Federal Reserve and its implications for the country. Through his campaign, Ron Paul is teaching many the benefits of limited government. There should be no surprise that his message is so well received; it is the one taught to us by Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and other founding fathers. It is the message of liberty, freedom, with the basis of a republic, not a democracy. We have been lied to so often, and our Constitution ripped apart at the seams, that when a person comes along speaking basic truths and principles, it awakens a part of us buried for so long.

A new form of damage control?

A. Shoot the messenger

B. Seek greater accuracy

http://www.oppodepot.com/thankyou.htm

If your tip passes vetting by the OppoDepot staff, then we'll add it as soon as we can, usually within 48 to 72 hours.

OppoDepot is 100% nonpartisan. We will never exclude any information on any candidate, whether Democrat, Republican, or other, so long as the information meets two simple criteria: (a) it must be sourced with attribution, and (b) given the credibility of the source, it must reasonably have the potential to damage the chances of the candidate in question.

Remember: All items must have been previously published elsewhere, though this can include other Internet sites, such as blogs. The more credible the source (i.e., the place where the item was published), the more likely that the item will be seen as having a reasonable chance to damage the candidate, and therefore added. Items submitted without sources will not be added.

Please note that the OppoDepot staff is unable to respond personally to every rejection. If your information does not appear within a week, then you should assume that it was deemed not to have a reasonable enough chance to damage the candidate.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us!

Sincerely,

The OppoDepot staff

B. Seek greater accuracy

At the bottom of the Dirt on Ron Paul page I found a comments page.

I commented:

"The reasons for this are fairly obvious."

I've heard Ron Paul speak years ago and there were no indications then of any racism in his being. I was also unaware of any dishonesty in Ron Paul.

The link to the racist quotes origin is broke. Fix it or please remove the baseless claim.

As to the 911 Conspiracy Theory: It is no wonder that the link to Ron Paul concerning the 911 Consipracy Theory is broke because any air time on that subject will continue to expose the lack of facts that will some day be public knowledge.

As to the Spam. Baseless claims are examples of spam.

My comment included a working link:

I know what is at stake.

I am not one of the fools.

I may not be very smart.

Some things are obvious even to me.

The new face of the freedom movement is Texas Congressman Ron Paul. The credit mostly goes to the Internet for having brought this principled politician into the light.

"The Internet" is a working example of anarchy. It is false to attribute human characteristics to "The Internet" as if "The Internet" can take or receive credit for something.

"The Internet" is a physical connection between human beings much like the air we breath is a physical connection between human beings. The human beings breathing the air and using "The Internet" can take and receive credit. The air keeps people alive. The Internet connects people and makes it possible to measure specific things about "The People".

Ron Paul has been around for many years. I know this to be true from my own experience. Way back before Waco and before Ross Perot I heard about Ron Paul during my investigations into human social networking (social science or social study).

Ron Paul was and remains an accurate voice among a torrent of lies; like a barely audible scream in the distance during a camp out in the forest at night.

If people move toward the truth, seeking accurate information, they will move closer to Ron Paul simply because all roads lead to the truth. This should be simple to understand and if it is not simple, then, you may be on a road that is going away or parallel to the road that originates from the truth.

One of my first encounters with that voice of reason passed on by Ron Paul occurred on a long forgotten link having possible connections with AM or FM radio, The John Birch Society, or possibly a minor media new paper or pamphlet. The message carried by that forgotten link escapes my specific memory; however - what is not forgotten is the contrast of Ron Paul’s message then and now. Then, as now, the message by Ron Paul is greatly contrasted by all the other messages, or noise, that proliferates in media of all kinds, again, the scream in the distance similar to a distant light in an otherwise pitch black night.

An example of the contrast then, as now, can be found in history since the same message continues now. Rather than spend too much time going back with specific precision in mind I'll simply try to remember my life and focus before Waco and Ross Perot. I remember joining the John Birch Society and reading many books on the subject of STATE CRIME. I use caps and those two words for a reason that was not reasonable to me way back then. I've since allowed my dues to lapse in the John Birch Society. At that time the supply of information exposing STATE CRIME was scarce and it took some effort to find it. While looking I came across more than one example of STATE CRIME documentary or commentary from the same source i.e. Ron Paul. Finding out, as time went by, that Ron Paul was, in fact, a Congressman created a very stark contrast itself. Here was a guy admitting to STATE CRIME while he held office in THE STATE. Most of the noise, the major media, the falsehoods, the confidence schemes, the false propaganda, the forest at night, and the darkness can be categorized as apologists for THE STATE and all the STATE CRIME that goes with it. Not Ron Paul. Not then. Not now.

If agents of THE STATE are committing crimes, then, Ron Paul makes no apology for it.

Chances are that my first exposures to Ron Paul's message, as they continue to be, were details concerning the questionable legitimacy of the Federal Reserve System of currency.

Back in the day, before Waco and Ross Perot, a person mentioning the possible illegitimacy of THE DOLLAR was automatically demonized as a Tin Hat Conspiracy Theorist; and these are just words.

Suffering through the onslaught cannot be explained with words. You must go through something similar to understand it. While fighting the unwanted excess baggage associated with 'going against the grain' the 'finding out' about another person who suffers the same, or more, is a reinforcement of legitimacy.

Picture this if you can. Out from the wilderness in the dark of night is a voice screaming liberty. You move toward that voice and that light and find a Doctor in Congress and the scream becomes a perfect harmony called Liberty the close you move in toward the source. Ron Paul isn't the source. He is merely standing closer to it.

What rubs off isn't generated by Ron Paul. Truth isn't credited to anyone in particular. Either you move closer to it or further away from it.

If you can catch up to Ron Paul, then, see if you can agree with me. I may be deluding myself. If so, then, my delusion has been going on for many years and my delusion is spreading. Many of the people connected by THE INTERNET are being infected with the same delusion. Perhaps it is like moths to a flame rather than concerned people seeking accurate facts going toward the truth.

My ability to know the difference remains a question to be answered even if the majority does not agree.

I can bank on Ron Paul seeing the same thing, not with words, simply seeing the same need for improvement toward more perfect information; reaching for truth and rejecting knowable falsehood.

How can anyone trust anyone else without a long time of reinforcing experience without any unresolved data refuting the focus and discipline toward truth and away from falsehood?

The gauntlet, the test, is not on the horizon. The test has already past and is passing now. It is the same test - one step after another step.

Which way is the right way?

We can all use some help. None of us require help taking a false step. Not even the worst of us.

Half way in is Ron Paul. I picked up on a term he used: "Newsletters".

That reminded me. I first heard of Ron Paul many years ago when reading a "Newsletter".

His message has not changed.

They own the big banks and print the money

It is the stupid currency.

We use it.

Why?

No MORE LEGAL CRIMINALS.

Interest rates go up.

Right. This occurs when the money supply is controlled by organized crime. This is exactly the same thing as any other energy product - even drugs.

A drug pusher goes to the local high school and gives away free drugs; no interest charge at all.

Kids become energized to live for drugs. They end up paying a huge cost to the pusher later on.

It is that simple.

Does that mean that drugs are bad?

Drugs are not bad. Organized crime is not bad. Criminal conduct is bad. People injure other people on purpose.

There isn't anything bad about currency.

Currency is the medium by which human economy gains power.

When the power is governed by crimninals, then, the power can be used to destroy the many for the enrichment of the few.

Interest rates, usury, merely accounts the rate of wealth flowing from the many to the few. Interest rates are not bad.

How many people know better than to loan wealth (currency) to people who will not pay it back?

How many people know how to loan a potential risky borrower a very small amount of money and consider that loan as a cost spent to find out if that person can be trusted?

How many people consider loaning money as a means of becoming super rich and super powerful?

If you do not ask and answer these questions, then, you may always depend upon others for solutions. Your dependence may very well be your ultimate demise. You have been hooked. You are the victims of currency pushers.

Currency government is a very simple matter of calculation. Any complications are designed as the means of gaining at your expense - false advertizment.

Perfect information is an easy matter to accomplish with any currency accounting system. Look into e-gold.

Do look. Do not stick your head into the sand another minute.

Live free. Free your conscience the right way. Know who the criminals are and do not feed them.

No more legal criminals.

Intrest payments that are transfered to organized criminals furnish those criminals with the wealth they cannot create and the wealth they use to enslave you.

1. Open bids for at least 2 more currency buisnesses supplying and maintaining new currency that can be used to pay taxes.

2. First time no interest loans are made available to any person for ownership of the title of their primary residence.

3. Anyone not paying off their first time home morgage loans will lose credit ratings and this is already done - stupid.

4. Second loans at 1 or 2 percent interest are made available for anyone entering any business involved in new power production from alternate energy sources.

5. Pay the buisnesses winnining the new currency bids with the 1 or 2 percent interest payments flowing from the new power being generated.

It is the STUPID currency - stupid.

OK, so, I could be the stupid one. Why has no one challenged a new currency system with words?

Ignorance.

OK - toward the end Ron Paul states something very profound:

I will use my own words to communcate what the message was as I understand it.

If we do our job and concentrate the power of government on the maintenance of liberty, then, we will have no trouble with the maintenance of wealth.

I whole heartedly agree; however - it cannot be ignored that currency must exist within society in some form or the inefficencies and costs of commerce without currency will be enormous and a sudden removal of currency in society is the same thing as removing roads or even removing oxygen or water from society.

The dollar, as poor as it is from a standpoint of liberty, is much better than no currency at all.

What then is Ron Paul's plans for replacing the dollar and the Federal Reserve?

If the free market is free to create any currency, then, something must be done to indentify and account for tax payments. If 'dollars' and only dollars contiue to be the 'offical' currency, then, the powers that control 'dollars' will continue to control society and government.

The Name of the door may now me: The Federal Reserve.

So long as the National Government requires tax payments in DOLLARS and no other 'legal' currency so long will the power remain in the hands behind the doors and the people working those hands can afford to change the sign on the door.

The MOST IMPORTANT issue that separates Ron Paul from all other candidates is the issue of our fraudulent monetary system. But because so few understand the system, and because it cannot be explained in a 30 second sound byte, Dr. Paul’s greatest asset goes largely unnoticed among the general population. Fortunately, as you’ll find in chapter 8, we can easily change this. We can educate ourselves and others. We can unite against (and defeat) the greatest threat facing our nation. It isn’t “terrorism,” it isn’t “drugs,” it isn’t “global warming.” Read on.
