Enter Mike Bloomberg, the founder and owner of the financial data and news company Bloomberg. Forbes says the mogul is contemplating spending up to 20 percent of his $11 billion fortune to run as an Independent candidate for president.

The POWER of television as a MASS media device (exclusive = monopoly) used to control PUBLIC opinion is richly evident as a FACT.

The POWER of the competition (INTERNET) is gaining MARKET share.

See how this can be measured in dollars.

Ron Paul is now approaching 12 million.

What is 20 percent of 11 billion?

A person may, or may not, get the connection between 'voluntary' donations (12 million) and the flow of POWER going to Bloomberg. A person may 'think' that the POWER going to Bloomberg was 'voluntary' and 'legitimate'; however - the fact that T.V. has controlled PUBLIC opinion in the past must be accurately accounted for - in fact.

How much of the 'control' was used to keep the POWER flow going in the desired direction desired by those people who have the POWER over T.V.?

Note: NO ONE has the POWER to control the Internet. There is no CENTRAL command that gives out a license to compete on the internet. Anyone with individual POWER can hook up and join the competition.

How do I know this fact?

Do me a favor and type a few phrases in an internet search engine like Google.

Type these:

No More Legal Criminals.

I get this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=No+More+Legal+Criminals

The top four are mine.

Type this:

Independent Online Presidential Poll

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Independent+Online+Presidential+Poll

I am second and third.

Type this:

Independent presidential debate coverage

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Independent+presidential+debate+coverage

Awhile ago I held the top spot. Now I'm on page two. I saw that coming and I documented the progress of that competition on this site here:

http://www.power-independence.com/view_topic.php?id=356&forum_id=2

I am a competitor in a free market of media that reaches the whole planet.

Anyone, anywhere, can google (search) for these phrases, words, communications, and get the same results - by default. Even the programing of the 'default' settings are subject to competition.

Example:

Yahoo has a search engine:

http://search.yahoo.com/

No More Legal Criminals

http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGkmecBWhHNQgAVpSl87UF?p=No+More+Legal+Criminals&ei=UTF-8&iscqry=&fr=sfp

I hold the top five spots.

How about this:

Power Independence

Page two?

How about Google?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Power+independence

I am number two on page one.

See how this works?

Think about the following search. I am going to use a few words from memory in a search for something specific.

These words:

That may work.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Jelly+beans+Jar+Statistics+Majority+

It worked.

Look at the first one on the list:

http://www.kottke.org/04/07/wisdom-of-crowds

If you ask a large enough group of diverse, independent people to make a prediciton or estimate a probability, and then everage those estimates, the errors of each of them makes in coming up with an answer will cancel themselves out. Each person's guess, you might say, has two components: information and error. Subtract the error, and you're left with the information.

A link from there goes to here:

http://www.randomhouse.com/features/wisdomofcrowds/

"No one in this world, so far as I know, has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people."
-H. L. Mencken

H. L. Mencken was wrong.

In this endlessly fascinating book, New Yorker columnist James Surowiecki explores a deceptively simple idea that has profound implications: large groups of people are smarter than an elite few, no matter how brilliant—better at solving problems, fostering innovation, coming to wise decisions, even predicting the future.

You may have been led to beleive things that are not true and please thing about a few things here; example - the knee jerk reaction is to return to the same people for an answer to the present question.

What is the present question?

Ask someone else?

See?

How about this:

How do you know that the Devil didn't write the Bible?

Ask a person who is currently spreading 'the gospel'?

They invariably say (I do this so I know); It says so right here.

In the bible.

Saudi Arabia can stop (if needed) the flow of oil to the U.S.A. no?

So...

Solar Panels and Electric Cars become even more valuable and cost-less.

Wind mills.

Hyrdogen storage of energy produced when the Sun and Wind are abundant.

Advocates of a U.S. nuclear weapons buildup received a significant setback on December 16, when Congressional negotiators agreed on an omnibus spending bill that omitted funding for development of a new nuclear weapon championed by the Bush administration: the Reliable Replacement Warhead (RRW). Coming on the heels of Congressional action in recent years that stymied administration schemes for the nuclear "bunker buster" and the "mini-nuke," it was the third – and perhaps final – defeat of George W. Bush and his hawkish allies in their attempt to upgrade the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal.

This conscious separation of personal responsibility from the act of looting is not surprising because "looting" is, theoretically as least, considered immoral in Christian circles. The corporation is thus a "legal fiction," that lets the investors who own the business avoid personal responsibility whenever the business dealings are unethical or even blatantly illegal, despite the fact that such unscrupulous behavior profits them enormously.

ALLAN NAIRN: Well, I think one thing you could say about the advisers for all the candidates who have a chance is that the presence of these advisers makes it clear that these candidates aren’t serious about enforcing the murder laws and that they’re willing to kill civilians, foreign civilians, en masse in order to advance US policy. And they’re not serious about law and order. They’re soft on crime.

And start with Clinton. Madeleine Albright, she was the main force behind the Iraq sanctions that killed more than 400,000 Iraqi civilians. General Wesley Clark, he was the one who ran the bombing of Serbia in the former Yugoslavia, came out and publicly said that he was going after civilian targets, like electrical plants, like the TV station there. Richard Holbrooke, in the Carter administration he was the one who oversaw the shipment of weapons to the Indonesian military as they were invading—illegally invading East Timor and killing a third of the population there, and he was the one who kept the UN Security Council from enforcing its resolution against that invasion. Strobe Talbott, he was the one who, during the Clinton administration, oversaw Russia policy, a backing of Yeltsin, which resulted in turning over the national wealth to the oligarchs and a drop in life expectancy in much of Russia of about fifteen years—massive, massive death. And you have various backers of the Iraq invasion and occupation and the recent escalation, people like General Jack Keane, Michael O’Hanlon and others. That’s just Clinton.

His driving motives were the assumption that people were guided by sympathy and feelings of solidarity and the need for control of their own work, much like other Enlightenment and early Romantic thinkers.

Does anybody care? No, because we’re an outlaw state by definition, or to be more precise, our threats and use of force are not foreign, they’re indigenous because we own the world. Therefore, it’s fine. So there are threats to bomb Iran—maybe we will and maybe we won’t. That is the debate that goes on. Is it legitimate if we decide to do it? People might argue it’s a mistake. But does anyone say it would be illegitimate? For example, the Democrats in Congress refuse to put in an amendment that would require the Executive to inform Congress if it intends to bomb Iran—to consult, inform. Even that was not accepted.

It is also a fact, well-known to military planners, that somewhere around 70% of troops in their first combat-fire situation find themselves frozen, unable to trigger lethal weapons at a live enemy. It takes training and intense re-socialization to make soldiers out of raw recruits. And it is a notable point, to which we shall return later, that said socialization has to concentrate on getting a trainee to obey orders and identify with the group. (Major David Pierson of the U.S. Army wrote an illuminating essay on this topic in the June 1999 Military Review).

So far two million innocent Iraqis have died because of years of sanctions and the 2003 Iraq War.

Predatory funds are not new. They first appeared about 15 years ago, but have recently reached alarming proportions, encouraged by cheap credit facilities and sophisticated financial instruments. The basic principle is simple: A group of wealthy investors buys up companies and manages them privately, without reference to the stock exchange and its restrictive rules and without having to answer to shareholders.

The idea is to get round the fundamental principles of capitalist morality and back to the law of the jungle.

Excuse me but that is a rather inacurate thing to report.

Capitalism according to one of the founders is the law of the jungle:

“every individual will attempt to secure his own requirements as completely as possible to the exclusion of others.” Carl Menger (1840 -1921)

Stengel: When we got into the Iraq war we didn’t know how long it would last. When we got into the Iraq war we didn’t know how much it would cost. It’s lasted longer, it’s cost more than we ever expected. The real toll is coming out now. The Pentagon is releasing a report saying, one in five American serviceman and women who have been in Iraq are coming back with brain injuries. Mild, traumatic brain injuries. More than 250,000 people. That legacy of that will last all of our life times and it’s incalculable.

The question remains, of course: what happens when the American money dries up? "The answer to that question is simple," this Iraqi says. And then he laughs: "When the money goes, they go."
