Enter Mike Bloomberg, the founder and owner of the financial data and news company Bloomberg. Forbes says the mogul is contemplating spending up to 20 percent of his $11 billion fortune to run as an Independent candidate for president.

The POWER of television as a MASS media device (exclusive = monopoly) used to control PUBLIC opinion is richly evident as a FACT.

The POWER of the competition (INTERNET) is gaining MARKET share.

See how this can be measured in dollars.

Ron Paul is now approaching 12 million.

What is 20 percent of 11 billion?

A person may, or may not, get the connection between 'voluntary' donations (12 million) and the flow of POWER going to Bloomberg. A person may 'think' that the POWER going to Bloomberg was 'voluntary' and 'legitimate'; however - the fact that T.V. has controlled PUBLIC opinion in the past must be accurately accounted for - in fact.

How much of the 'control' was used to keep the POWER flow going in the desired direction desired by those people who have the POWER over T.V.?

Note: NO ONE has the POWER to control the Internet. There is no CENTRAL command that gives out a license to compete on the internet. Anyone with individual POWER can hook up and join the competition.

How do I know this fact?

Do me a favor and type a few phrases in an internet search engine like Google.

Type these:

No More Legal Criminals.

I get this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=No+More+Legal+Criminals

The top four are mine.

Type this:

Independent Online Presidential Poll

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Independent+Online+Presidential+Poll

I am second and third.

Type this:

Independent presidential debate coverage

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Independent+presidential+debate+coverage

Awhile ago I held the top spot. Now I'm on page two. I saw that coming and I documented the progress of that competition on this site here:

http://www.power-independence.com/view_topic.php?id=356&forum_id=2

I am a competitor in a free market of media that reaches the whole planet.

Anyone, anywhere, can google (search) for these phrases, words, communications, and get the same results - by default. Even the programing of the 'default' settings are subject to competition.

Example:

Yahoo has a search engine:

http://search.yahoo.com/

No More Legal Criminals

http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGkmecBWhHNQgAVpSl87UF?p=No+More+Legal+Criminals&ei=UTF-8&iscqry=&fr=sfp

I hold the top five spots.

How about this:

Power Independence

Page two?

How about Google?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Power+independence

I am number two on page one.

See how this works?

Think about the following search. I am going to use a few words from memory in a search for something specific.

These words:

That may work.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Jelly+beans+Jar+Statistics+Majority+

It worked.

Look at the first one on the list:

http://www.kottke.org/04/07/wisdom-of-crowds

If you ask a large enough group of diverse, independent people to make a prediciton or estimate a probability, and then everage those estimates, the errors of each of them makes in coming up with an answer will cancel themselves out. Each person's guess, you might say, has two components: information and error. Subtract the error, and you're left with the information.

A link from there goes to here:

"No one in this world, so far as I know, has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people."
-H. L. Mencken

H. L. Mencken was wrong.

In this endlessly fascinating book, New Yorker columnist James Surowiecki explores a deceptively simple idea that has profound implications: large groups of people are smarter than an elite few, no matter how brilliant—better at solving problems, fostering innovation, coming to wise decisions, even predicting the future.

You may have been led to beleive things that are not true and please thing about a few things here; example - the knee jerk reaction is to return to the same people for an answer to the present question.

What is the present question?

Ask someone else?

See?

How about this:

How do you know that the Devil didn't write the Bible?

Ask a person who is currently spreading 'the gospel'?

They invariably say (I do this so I know); It says so right here.

In the bible.
