It was a saying of Daniel Webster that “if a thing is to be done, a wise man should be able to tell how it is to be done.” Stephan Pearl Andrews The Problem: The human species may not survive WWIII. I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." http://rescomp.stanford.edu/~cheshire/EinsteinQuotes.html The reasonable Solution: It is not impossible. It will require some careful thought and peaceful effort. The idea is to cooperate in the effort to solve the problem. Proposal: Leave productive people alone. Ask them for help. Any person currently producing more than they consume already have the reasonable solution to the problem. Let them continue solving the problem. Any person not currently producing more than they consume can start producing more than they consume if they ask for and receive help. Two practical examples: Producers of power, any power, over and above the power required to produce the power will produce more power than they consume. A solar panel is a prime example. A liar is another prime example. Any person currently producing solar panels and lies can be left alone. The longer they are left alone the more power they will produce. The more power produced the less scarce will be that particular form of power. The greater abundance of that particular power the less will be the cost of using that power. Cheap power is the solution. Explanation: Any living organism cannot continue living when the power required is less than the power available. The living organism that fails to produce enough power to survive will perish eventually. The problem associated with power, reasonably, is that power can be both constructive and destructive. Solar panels produce constructive power, electricity, and it can kill. Falsehood produces destructive power, destructive human effort, and it can save us. The solution involves the utilization of all power; including destructive power. This is, perhaps, too simple to comprehend. More from Albert: Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." The power to deceive is simply the back side of knowledge; like the negative electrical charge is the back side of the positive electrical charge. Telling someone to touch the two wires is an example of how destructive both falsehood and electricity can become. Telling someone to connect the two wires to a light bulb is an example of how constructive both knowledge and electricity can become; the light bulb shines brightly – so long as someone continues to produce the power required. A simple change of direction: Falsehood is a choice to tap into the destructive power of deception. That is both an internal self deception and an external telling of lies; a consumption of lies and a production of lies. Falsehood is a preference for ignorance; like choosing to see a naked emperor as a well clothed emperor. The clothes do not exist. The choice is to be ignorant concerning the lack of clothes. Falsehood, especially a very popular falsehood, can be very powerful. Falsehood can be very destructive because falsehood is currently used exclusively, generally speaking, to hide violence. The cloth the emperor wears, in our minds, exists to hide the naked aggression, the aggressive violence, the murdering, the stealing, the torturing, and the raping of mankind. That, in a nutshell, is the destructive nature of falsehood. We the people are touching both wires together, in our minds, causing a short circuit, and in doing so, we become active participants in the destruction. Is it possible to use falsehood constructively? Consider the possibility of completing the circuit; add one more load to the circuit. As the power is used to ‘cloak’ the violence, as that has gone on effectively for the entirety of the human experiment, why not add a ‘cloak’ over the emperor too? I would call this an abstract idea if not for the overwhelming evidence supporting the fact that we the people are already ‘cloaking’ the entire concept of ‘The Emperor’ including his clothes. The ‘concrete’ evidence supporting this viewpoint concerning the constructive nature of falsehood, the active ignorance concerning the emperor, and his cloths, includes any study into the realm of ‘politics’. Like this: How many people vote today compared to yesterday? Why bother? It seems appropriate to also ask: What increases voter “turn out”? Who cares? Yes; who cares and why bother? In essence: Ignore them and they will wither away. That, my friends, sums up what is real. Our individual opinions concerning what matters - does matter to us. What concerns U.S. now is this: We the people are producing less than we consume. “We” include the emperor and all the people choosing to clothe the emperor. We can ‘cloak’ them. We cannot survive unless we produce more than we consume. Constructive falsehood may help. Power is a necessity.
