Central banks of various countries have to stock up dollar reserves because they can only buy their oil requirements and other major commodities in US dollars. There is perhaps a time and place whereupon the option of ignorance is no longer an option. That time and that place can be embraced or ignored. Fantasy can be fun. Facing reality while reeling in a self-inflicted stupor may not be fun. When is it time to invest wisely?

OH really? So what is this stuff called wisdom and how can wisdom manage to direct investment? This is easy. If every person on the planet turned in their excess production (savings of every kind) and purchased one Solar Panel (or any product that can produce more power for less power), then, everyone investing in this manner would have more power for less power. Here is the wise part: Once the initial investment has been made, and this is really, really simple, the smaller amount of power creates a larger amount of power; therefore - the amount of excess production is turned into THE POWER TO CREATE MORE POWER. What is the problem? Use the power to create more power (once the initial investment creates the power to create more power) to invest in creating more power. What happens when the initial investment creates the power to create more power, and then, the power to create more power is invested into the power to create more power? Answer: No more problems with power. No more Energy crisis. No more Currency crisis. No more Money crisis. No more Power crisis. Each individual begins to utilize excess production to create the power to create more power and each individual invests the greater excess production into increasing excess production of POWER and this can be done by each INDIVIDUAL on the planet. Power-independence creates more power for less power for everyone. What is the cost of failing to invest in the creation of this exponential growth of independent power production on a global scale? Here is one measure currently being calculated: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/ Investing in people who destroy power will, by definition, destroy power. That may be a wise choice in the short term for some. For some it is misery and death. The short term solution, for some, may be incredibly profitable beyond any measure. What about the rest of us? It may be a good idea to wise up sooner rather than later.

When POWER is invested in the production of more POWER, then, POWER IS UTILIZED TO INCREASE POWER. Call that = SOFT POWER. Imagine asking China, Russia, Iran, and anyone else (any one at all) to - PLEASE - use their POWER softly in the effort to REDUCE the POWER CURRENTLY BEING USED TO DESTROY. Why can't AMERICAN people align themselves with anyone, anywhere, on the globe who can and will STOP THE POWER BEING USED TO DESTROY? Example: Any American: "Please help us STOP THE MADMAN currently DESTROYING the planet?" Any non-American (including any Chinese, Russian, or Iranian): "I'd like to however that MADMAN is currently trying to kill us" AA: "Do you have to kill us too to survive?" ANA: "Not if you can stop the MADMAN yourself and soon." AA: "Do you have any suggestions?" ANA: "Don't feed him. Use a currency that will not send him POWER." AA: "HOW?" ANA: "Invest wisely. The Dollar Hegemony is going down. We are making sure of this fact. Do not allow him to unleash WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION on Iran and the MADMAN will be starved out of power. If you let him unleash WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, then, your world will be made very miserable because you allowed him to UNLEASE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Even so; invest in something other than the dollar sooner rather than later. Some of you know a good investment when they see one." Am I making any sense? Solar Panels are good investments. If you have a steady supply of electricity, from the sun, then, you have something for almost nothing. You have valuable currency. Turning in dollars for Solar Panels is a pretty good thing to do in this day and age even if the FEAR MONGERING is nothing more than the ranting of a CONSPIRACY THEORIST or AXIS OF EVIL TERRORIST. Invest in your neighbor. Offer power (if you have any) to those who have none. Do not feed MADMEN. Is this not good advice? Listen to your own conscience. That can hardly be a bad investment ever. On the other hand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsJAlrYjGz8 If you read the links to this 'Sobering Realities' 'discussion' (now that is a bit of a stretch), then, you may find cause to look the other way, be depressed, panic, conclude that the information is just so much fecal matter or whatever. If you then watch the video link, with an open mind, a clear and reasonable open mind, then, a few pieces of the puzzle may fit in place. Imagine the level of productivity (jobs, independent inspiration to work, cooperate, get on track, on the same page, trust, a general feeling of accomplishment, freedom, liberty, on and on) if people began to see the wisdom in the idea that producing Solar Panels, Electric cars, etc. is more than just a pipe dream, rather, it can be the American Dream revisited. It can be - so long as there is a will driving the effort. Will we (the people) ever learn? Dooms Day or Power-Independence? I’m not asking for royalties. How about this instead: Dooms Day or Independence Day? One might ask: Who actually wants Independence, and, from what? How about independence from DOOMS DAY? I think it is a simple question with a simple answer. I’m the stupid one. That is a given.
