The Iranian counter-response to sanctions and to its demonization as a rogue or pariah state has been to develop a "Look East" foreign policy that is, in itself, a challenge to American energy hegemony in the Gulf. The policy has been conducted with great skill by Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, who was educated in Bangalore, India. While focused on massive energy deals with China, India, and Pakistan, it looks as well to Africa and Latin America. To the horror of American neocons, an intercontinental "axis of evil" air link already exists – a weekly commercial Tehran-Caracas flight via Iran Air.

Iran's diplomatic (and energy) reach is now striking. When I was in Bolivia early this year, I learned of a tour Iran's ambassador to Venezuela had taken on the jet of Bolivian President Evo Morales. The ambassador reportedly offered Morales "everything he wanted" to offset the influence of "American imperialism."

Meanwhile, a fierce energy competition is developing among the Turks, Iranians, Russians, Chinese, and Americans – all placing their bets on which future trade routes will be the crucial ones as oil and natural gas flow out of Central Asia. As a player, Iran is trying to position itself as the unavoidable bazaar-state in an oil-and-gas-fueled New Silk Road – the backbone of a new Asian Energy Security Grid. That's how it could recover some of the preeminence it enjoyed in the distant era of Darius, the King of Kings. And that's the main reason why U.S. neo-Cold Warriors, Zio-cons, armchair imperialists, or all of the above, are throwing such a collective – and threatening – fit.

Ahmadinejad has just concluded a tour of South Asia and, to the despair of American neocons, the Asian Energy Security Grid is quickly becoming a reality. Two years ago, at the Petroleum Ministry in Tehran, I was told Iran is betting on the total "interdependence of Asia and Persian Gulf geo-economic politics." This year Iran finally becomes a natural gas-exporting country. The framework for the $7.6 billion Iran-Pakistan-India pipeline, also known as the "peace" pipeline, is a go. Both these key South Asian U.S. allies are ignoring Bush administration desires and rapidly bolstering their economic, political, cultural, and – crucially – geostrategic connections with Iran. An attack on Iran would now inevitably be viewed as an attack against Asia.

In a coordinated operation on May 7, Iranian intelligence agents arrested the terrorist network’s members, who were identified in Fars, Khuzestan, Gilan, West Azerbaijan, and Tehran provinces, the Intelligence Ministry announcement said.

The group’s plans were devised in the U.S., according to the announcement, which added that they had planned to carry out a number of acts such as bombing scientific, educational, and religious centers, shooting people, and making public places in various cities insecure.

One of the terrorists was killed in the operation, but the rest are in detention, the Intelligence Ministry said, adding that the group’s main objective was to create fear among the people.

The United States Central Intelligence Agency comprehensively supported the terrorist group by arming it, training its members, and sponsoring its inhumane activities in Iran, the Intelligence Ministry stated.

Where Are You, Conyers?

In 2005, before John Conyers became chair of the House Committee on the Judiciary, he introduced a bill to explore impeaching the president and was asked by Lewis Lapham of Harpers why he was for impeachment then. He replied:

“To take away the excuse that we didn’t know. So that two, or four, or ten years from now, if somebody should ask, ‘Where were you, Conyers, and where was the U.S. Congress?’ when the Bush administration declared the Constitution inoperative…none of the company here present can plead ignorance or temporary insanity [or] say that ‘somehow it escaped our notice.’”

In the three years since then, the train of abuses and usurpations has gotten longer and Conyers has become chair of the committee. Yet he has dawdled and dawdled, and has shown no appetite for impeachment.

On July 23, 2007, Conyers told Cindy Sheehan, Rev. Lennox Yearwood, and me that he would need 218 votes in the House and they were not there.

A week ago, 251 members of the House voted to refer to Conyers’ committee the 35 Articles of Impeachment proposed by Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

The idea reported above is half-true.

Please think about that fact.

The idea goes like this:

If gasoline prices drop to $1.50 per gallon the American Economy will crash.

The half true part is this:

Wall Street, IMF, WTO, and The Dollar Hegemony (Legal Criminals) will lose their power over the American Economy if POWER (any power) is purchased by The People at a low cost.

This is really that simple.

Who will CRASH?

Who will not CRASH?

People who invest in and expect a return on the investment in Dollars will CRASH.

People who invest in Solar Panels and Electric Cars will have Solar Panels and Electric Cars (if they do not borrow dollars to get them) so those people will not CRASH.

People who invest in gasoline cars will CRASH if gasoline prices rise, however if gasoline prices drop to $1.50 per gallon they will not CRASH.

Employers who are heavily leveraged (borrowed dollars to stay afloat at high interest rates i.e. 3 percent or more) will CRASH.

The Dollar Economy will CRASH.

I delivered copies of the petition on CD to Ed Royce. The legal Notice & Demand for redress was accepted by an office person who refused to sign the legal document titled: Proof of Service. The Legal Notice & Demand for redress intends to record an official record concerning Ed Royce’s official answers to 7 petitions for redress.

My comments to Ed Royce’s office worker included an explanation of how Ed Royce’s failure to answer the petitions constitutes an answer to the petitions; he will be officially recognized as a representative who ignores the petitions for redress if he fails to reply to me as instructed on the legal Notice & Demand.

This is how people contend the authority of the elected “representatives”. Who does the elected “representatives” represent if the “representatives” ignore a legal Notice and Demand?

The legal Notice and Demand merely asks for an official response (admit or deny) to 7 specific grievances.
