Bush Hit Men Running Scared

by Chris Floyd

There is brutal arrogance behind this of course – but blind panic too. For the bloodsoaked thugs of the Bush Regime now realize they have no choice: if law and the Constitution are allowed to prevail, they could all be doing hard time – or even find themselves strapped down and stretched out, waiting for the executioner's needle.

True Justice, in my opinion, is preventative not reactive. If the idea is to prevent these criminals from committing further crimes and preventing future crimes committed by future government employees, then, the sentence, handed down by the jury, not one judge, not one man, the sentence, if I were on the jury, would be a suggestion to seize all monetary assets stolen by these criminals to pay for their deportation to Iraq, if the Iraqi people will welcome them, and a further suggestion, honestly given, for the Iraqi people to employ these criminals to help rebuild Iraq and allow these criminals the opportunity to spread democracy as they see fit on their own in the country that they did choose.

Bush on Trial for Crimes against Humanity
    By Marjorie Cohn
    t r u t h o u t | Report

    Tuesday 24 January 2006

The International Commission of Inquiry on Crimes against Humanity Committed by the Bush Administration convened last weekend in New York City's Riverside Church. Martin Luther King Jr.'s portrait hangs in the foyer. Dr. King delivered his historic 1967 speech, "Beyond Vietnam: A Place to Break the Silence," opposing the war and calling for the removal of all foreign troops from Vietnam, in that same church.
