I can start now. Gary can join in as he sees fit. Any number of individuals can begin now to prepare for any financial crisis and as more people join the effort the power against financial crisis grows exponentially. The medium of exchange used by voluntary members of any mutual association is irrelevant beyond cost. In other words the medium is merely an accounting cost. The current dependence upon what can aptly be termed "Dollar Hegemony" is akin to a disease. The cure requires an accurate diagnosis that avoids treating symptoms. So, again, the cure is to begin development of an alternate currency. One person can do this alone without any help from anyone and his or her individual currency merely has to accomplish the task of accounting at a cost that is affordable. Why not use actual current? In other words; produce electric current and utilize that independent power production as money (the accounting medium, or currency, can be any means by which the flow of currency is accounted). Worst case: The “Dollar Hegemony” crumbles and no one has a ready currency that can manage the process of accounting (credit cards don’t work). Coal doesn’t make it to the power plants. Electricity shuts off. People starve. Avoid worst case: One person, or 200 million people, turn in their 401K retirement accounts and purchase solar panels, wind generators, hydrogen “on demand” water/fuel devices, and this person or these people begin to generate independent power themselves. Trucks keep moving since those ‘truckers’ are preparing for the worse case scenario. Those truckers begin to be less dependent upon the flow of oil currency (current ‘on demand’ water/fuel devices reduce petroleum fuel consumption and future devices may eliminate petroleum fuel consumption for trucks). The person, or the people, who can generate more electric power at home than they use, at home, can sell their power to those who pay higher prices (as the coal costs increase due to the “dollar hegemony” cost increases) for electricity or are without electricity. In other words; the currency does, in fact, keep flowing for those who invest wisely. Those who invest in gold may use their gold to purchase electricity from those who invested in electric production. The capitalists can charge whatever the market will bear while the other types can charge electricity at cost. The sooner anyone prepares for independence from “Dollar Hegemony” and all the costs involved in that falsehood the better. The falsehood will fail; by design. The greater the number of people investing in power independence - the greater will their combined power be as a hedge against the coming financial collapse. This type of investment defies the “Austrian Economics” farce. The greater the supply of power – the greater will be purchasing power. In other words: Inflating the supply of actual power (electric, hydrogen from water power, and human power) the lower will be the costs of everything made with that power (which is everything having any value to human beings). The problem has been and will continue to be, that, power is concentrated among the few and power has been excluded to the many; therefore – the solution is for the many to continue working toward creating their own independent power. When people realise this and independently so, then, people will have the power they need to survive against any loss of power emanating (excreted) from the ‘authorities’, who, create our misery on purpose. Gary is a smart guy. Too smart not to see this I think. What does that make him – an authority on dooms day?
