Forum Reader, I, Joe Kelley, own this Forum. The domain name “Power-Independence” is a contract I have purchased with the rest of the human species. Someone may end up taking my domain name, at which time, my contract will expire; my investment will expire. I am also the Moderator. I can view numbers that log the activity on this forum. Example: Page views: 11/2005 = 100 01/2006 = 223 03/2006 = 1612 It is 03/30/2006 now; as I write. I write now to challenge, in open debate, the writer of this: http://www.lewrockwell.com/hoppe/hoppe5.html Specifically this: Here is the essential reading on anarcho-capitalism, which might also be called the natural order, private-property anarchy, ordered anarchy, radical capitalism, the private-law society, or society without a state. Some time between now and the end of the human species there will be a return to negotiations between individual sovereigns; as a popular fad. If the Great Leader of the Free World (Großer Leiter von der Freien Welt) does ‘Free’ everyone with Nuclear Holocaust, then, the Great Return to Open Discussion will probably not be an accelerating Global fad. It will however remain fashionable among ‘Free Traders’. People like to Grand Stand. Forums are popular. The Fad is growing in leaps and bounds. It is going Global. A web page somewhere is the most fashionable one. A forum somewhere is the one with the highest number of page views. That Greatest Forum has a topic title. That topic is the most popular Global topic for the Human Species. That ‘winner’ may change from day to day and from minute to minute. Some possible ‘winners’: Topics: 1. Huge Meteor will wipe out the human species. 2. Alien life exists 3. Martha Stewart poses for Playboy 4. A Chinese fishing boat ignites WWIII 5. New device reduces fuel costs by half 6. American Inventor discovers Individual Sovereignty I’m going with number 6. That is my investment at this time. My challenge will be sent to Hans-Hermann Hoppe. I actually met the guy. He is extraordinary; in my opinion. A worthy opponent, probably too good for the likes of me, if he has the time to be the first to post on this forum, he will probably rip me apart and tear me to shreds. My viewpoint, my contention concerning his viewpoint, will be shredded and exposed as shear folly – less relevant to human reality than Martha Stewarts Cloths. This is a challenge. It is life.
