Gee, it’s a good thing the CIA has their own YouTube channel: now there’s a solid investment of the US taxpayers’ money. But Shahram wasn’t done with them quite yet.

On June 29, a third video cropped up, which was played by Iranian television, in which the real Shahram cleared up the mystery:

“I, Shahram Amiri, am a national of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a few minutes ago I succeeded in escaping US security agents in Virginia. Presently, I am producing this video in a safe place. I could be re-arrested at any time.”

After appealing to Western human rights organizations to intervene on his behalf – fat chance! – he continued:

“The second video which was published on YouTube by the US government, where I have said that I am free and want to continue my education here, is not true and is a complete fabrication. If something happens and I do not return home alive, the US government will be responsible.”

All this time Washington had refused to acknowledge Shahram’s presence in the US, but when he showed up at the Pakistani embassy an official who refused to be named told the media: “He came to this country freely, he lived here freely, and he has chosen freely to return to Iran.”

In a interview with Ralph Nader on C-SPAN's Book TV to promote his book Lies the Government Told You, Judge Andrew Napolitano said that President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should have been indicted for "torturing, for spying, for arresting without warrant."

Over the last two years we spent $1.6 billion on the Merida Project, where we asked the Mexican government to escalate their War on Drugs. The result? Over the last three years, nearly 25,000 Mexicans have been killed in the drug wars. This is madness. The amount of drugs entering our country is not appreciably different. We lost, drugs won.

Please consider thinking in terms that explain the whole truth more accurately.

War FOR drugs.

War FOR terrorism.

Etc.

In fact, we would still be a large and powerful nation-state with a host of internal and external problems. An immigration and drug crisis on our southern border, soaring health-care costs, a weakening education system, an aging population, an aging infrastructure, an unending recession -- none of these are likely to go away soon, nor are any of them likely to be tackled in a serious or successful way as long as we continue to spend our wealth on armies, weapons, wars, global garrisons, and bribes for petty dictators.

"This is the remarkable thing: Other countries are reckoning with the legacy of the Bush administration's torture program, and meanwhile the United States is not," said Jameel Jaffer, the director of the American Civil Liberties Union's national security program.

"That's part of why we're so concerned. The Obama administration, rather than investigate the abuses of the last eight years, has increasingly become an obstacle to accountability."

A spokeswoman for the Justice Department, Tracy Schmaler, didn't respond to requests for comment.

Because the legal criminals are still tourturing and mass murdering for profit; investigation = confession.

Treasury Makes Shocking Admission: Program for Struggling Homeowners Just a Ploy to Enrich Big Banks
The Treasury Dept.'s mortgage relief program isn't just failing, it's actively funneling money from homeowners to bankers, and Treasury likes it that way.

Are we all doomed?
If there was an observer on Mars, they would probably be amazed that we have survived this long. There are two problems for our species' survival - nuclear war and environmental catastrophe - and we're hurtling towards them. Knowingly. This hypothetical Martian would probably conclude that human beings were an evolutionary error.

Only a massive propaganda effort and a healthy dose of self-delusion can explain poll numbers that show a split verdict on the subject of torture's legitimacy, when it has been proven to be completely unreliable in true intelligence gathering --

“What is going on here?” I asked myself at the time. How is it that so many people feel free to talk about empire when they mean a United States empire? The ideological orthodoxy had always been that, unlike other countries, the USA did not indulge in colonization and conquest.

The answer, I realized, is that the word has been divested of its full meaning. “Empire” seems nowadays to mean simply dominion and control. Empire—for most of these late-coming critics— is concerned almost exclusively with power and prestige. What is usually missing from the public discourse is the process of empire and its politico-economic content. In other words, while we hear a lot about empire, we hear very little about imperialism.

But I define imperialism as follows: the process whereby the dominant investor interests in one country bring to bear their economic and military power upon another nation or region in order to expropriate its land, labor, natural resources, capital, and markets—in such a manner as to enrich the investor interests. In a word, empires do not just pursue “power for power’s sake.” There are real and enormous material interests at stake, fortunes to be made many times over.

So for centuries the ruling interests of Western Europe and later on North America and Japan went forth with their financiers—and when necessary their armies—to lay claim to most of planet Earth, including the labor of indigenous peoples (both as workers and slaves), their markets, their incomes (through colonial taxation or debt control or other means), and the abundant treasures of their lands: their gold, silver, diamonds, copper, rum, molasses, hemp, flax, ebony, timber, sugar, tobacco, ivory, iron, tin, nickel, coal, cotton, corn, and more recently: uranium, manganese, titanium, bauxite, oil, and—say it again—oil (hardly a complete listing).

Empires are enormously profitable for the dominant economic interests of the imperial nation but enormously costly to the people of the colonized country. In addition to suffering the pillage of their lands and natural resources, the people of these targeted countries are frequently killed in large numbers by the intruders.

America's hidden history is ugly and disturbing. No nation ever matched it. To Iraq alone, over the past two decades, it includes ongoing genocide, destruction, terror, occupation, and contamination – a horrendous combination of crimes, unmentioned in Western discourse.

A book for all the "believers" who are in bed with those criminals:

"Our soldiers have pumped salt water into men to 'make them talk,' have taken prisoner people who held up their hands and peacefully surrendered, and an hour later, without an atom of evidence to show they were even insurrectos, stood them on a bridge and shot them down one by one, to drop into the water below and float down as an example to those who found their bullet-riddled corpses."

The confessed waterboarder is a marked man. If he travels abroad, other countries can—and should—nab him and try him for the crime of torture.

Torture is a bid deal to those who receive it. Pain has that effect, especially when it is willfully committed by a supposed human being.

I published my own petition awhile ago:
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/160/029/976/

Why?

Read: The Gulag Archipelago by Alexandr I Solzhenitsyn

Read: Voices from the Third Reich by Johannes Steinhoff

Then check this out:

http://www.lewrockwell.com/rep/fema-camps-jesse-ventura.html

On the petition web page at the top of the list there is a blank space where a person can add their phone number. When someone wants to do you harm, you, do you harm, how are you going to stop them?

Net Nuetered?

This NEWS item involves political power which drives the forces being employed to accomplish specific things.

The bottom line here, it seems to me, is the use of power to accomplish the job of eliminating competition.

That is what criminals do, and this should be knowable by everyone who is a potential victim.

Criminals eliminate competition, that is what they do, they cannot ever allow competition.

One way to eliminate competition is to physically destroy all competitors, another way is to cooperate with potential competitors and form a co-op, or cartel, or cabal, or whatever word accurately identifies two or more criminals dividing their turf into zones - rather than fighting each other for control of the whole enchilada.

Readers may wonder what this idiot is going on about, while the topic is Net Neutrality, and I can respond to such notions with a few facts.

The supposed "law of the land" here in U.S.A. Inc. (LLC) has long since been corrupted into organized crime, and the supposed "law" being enforced is, in fact, an effort by criminals to destroy competition. if you don't know that, then you probably think that I am strange, and you probably think that my words are false - but who, really, is looking through false filters?

Really?

The supposed law makers are specifically, not ambiguously, destroying competition with these things they are doing now. These things they are doing now can be called laws, if you wish to call them laws, or these things they are doing now can be called something more accurate, if that is what you want to do, which do you prefer?

A. Call these things by names that do not describe them accurately.

B. Call these things by names that describe them accurately.

I prefer B.

Group A has the power to capture a large portion of a large market. Group A can produce many things and sell many things to many people.

How does the introduction of a Group B affect the power wielded by Group A over "the market"?

The introduction of a Group B will force both groups to increase the quality of what they produce and the introduction of a Group B will force both groups to lower the price charged to "the market".

Will Group A spend limited resources toward producing higher quality products at lower costs, because Group B will exist if Group B doesn't yet exist, or because Group B already exists and therefore it is necessary, absolutely necessary for Group A to spend limited resource toward producing higher quality products at lower costs, or, on the other hand, will Group A spend limited resources toward eliminating Group B, and/or incorporate Group B into a cartel?

If you don't ask the above question, you can never know the answer.

The answer is answered once Group A accesses LAW, and uses LAW, to do something.

What is meant by the word: Lobby?

LAW is used to eliminate the competition.

Once the competition is eliminated the force that drives quality up and cost (price) down is eliminated.

LAW can be something other than a power used in the job of eliminating competition, and then what is LAW?

What is LAW when LAW is employed in the work of eliminating competition?

How does all that above relate to Net Neutrality?

if "the market" demands unlimited access, then that is a measure of quality, and if the suppliers don't deliver unlimited access there must then be a force preventing competition because, and this is true, because this is true, and not because I see it, and not because you don't see it, yet, BECAUSE "the market" will choose the higher quality product at the lower cost when not forced to choose the lower quality product at a higher cost - it is simply true - actually true - in reality.

The forces behind eliminating Net Neutrality must eliminate or incorporate the competition, if they don't, then "the market" will get what they actually want.

That is the connection.

Do you want to connect to who you want, when you want, or do you want someone forcing you to settle for less?

Who has the power, and what are they doing with it?

Rumsfeldia

Rumsfeld these days – a man who very likely met the criteria of both criminal and war criminal long before his second stint at the Pentagon – brings to mind nothing more than a brutal and blood-thirsty version of Portlandia.
