“Whether national government will be productive of internal peace, is too uncertain to admit of decided opinion. I only hazard a conjecture when I say, that our state disputes, in a confederacy, would be disputes of levity and passion, which would subside before injury. The people being free, government having no right to them, but they to government, they would separate and divide as interest or inclination prompted – as they do at this day, and always have done, in Switzerland. In a national government, unless cautiously and fortunately administered, the disputes will be the deep-rooted differences of interest, where part of the empire must be injured by the operation of general law; and then should the sword of government be once drawn (which Heaven avert) I fear it will not be sheathed, until we have waded through that series of desolation, which France, Spain, and the other great kingdoms of the world have suffered, in order to bring so many separate States into uniformity, of government and law; in which event the legislative power can only be entrusted to one man (as it is with them) who can have no local attachments, partial interests, or private views to gratify.”
New Constitution Creates A National Government; Will Not Abate Foreign Influence; Dangers Of Civil War And Despotism, March 7, 1788
Above is a method of informing people how freedom in liberty compares to slavery in despotism. Another way to say the same thing is to compare voluntary association for mutual defense to involuntary association for dominance over slaves.
When people cooperate willingly there is no need to force people to "cooperate." So the spin, the deception, is to use words in a context created for the purpose of enslaving the targets.
Madison begins the "majority rule" spin:
"The inference to which we are brought, is, that the causes of faction cannot be removed; and that relief is only to be sought in the means of controlling its effects.
"If a faction consists of less than a majority, relief is supplied by the republican principle, which enables the majority to defeat its sinister views, by regular vote."
There in those quotes are the essential elements of the might makes right deception. This particular form of that deception is a declaration of a subjective viewpoint as if no other viewpoint exists: the creation of a man of straw (fiction) and once that man of straw is crated, then the creator of the man of straw has positioned himself as the one who can rip the man of straw appart.
The world, according to this fiction, is a world where people have the power to vote for, and get, their ability to enslave people who can be enslaved in this fiction.
The world in that fiction is a world without trial by the country, a world without a requirement of a tribunal made up of jurors (representatives of the whole people) to consent to or not consent to any action by someone against someone in the name of the people.
