I think I like this Purdue source better than the one I linked above. Brief overview of punctuation: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/566/01/ Quotation Marks. Most helpful link I've found so far: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/577/03/ Also states that when quoting directly a misspelling that [sic] should be used to let reader know that the misspelling was original to the author, not the current writer http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/577/1/ see item number 5.
