http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=euphemism

The act or an example of substituting a mild, indirect, or vague term for one considered harsh, blunt, or offensive: “Euphemisms such as ‘slumber room’... abound in the funeral business” (Jessica Mitford).

A euphemism is a euphemism; like taking a mirror and reflecting the mirror into another mirror. The image of the mirror reflects the image of the mirror which, in turn, reflects the mirror image of the mirror image. The last image is difficult to see.

I intend to conduct a similar experiment on-line with Skype (The whole word can talk for free).

http://www.skype.com/helloagain.html

Imagine having so much freedom that freedom costs nothing.

Try imagining that and one might actually see the image of peace as the last image; so insignificant as to be almost imperceptible.

Here is the experiment envisioned.

Click on the Skype Icon. Dial up my friend in Brazil. I see him talking to me on my computer screen. He has a PC camera mounted to his monitor aimed at him while he talks.

I need to get a PC camera too.

We aim each PC camera at the computer screen and place our talking heads between the camera and the screen so as to provide a profile image for internet communications.

I see my friend as he talks to me. He can see me as I talk to him.

The digital image travels from California to Brazil and from Brazil to California.

A display appears on my screen that includes my friend talking and me talking all at once.

A display appears on my friends screen too.

Will the world blow up?

Will we tear the fabric of universal time and space?

Perhaps no one will ever know what will happen.

Holocaust

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Holocaust

Great destruction resulting in the extensive loss of life, especially by fire.

Words defy meaning.

How about experimenting on human beings to see how much suffering one can endure?

How much does the experimenter suffer?

Probably not much since the experimenter has an ace in the hole.

Euphemism or Falsehood

A means to an end.

Conscience

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=conscience

con·science    ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (knshns)
n.
    1. The awareness of a moral or ethical aspect to one's conduct together with the urge to prefer right over wrong: Let your conscience be your guide.
    2. A source of moral or ethical judgment or pronouncement: a document that serves as the nation's conscience.
    3. Conformity to one's own sense of right conduct: a person of unflagging conscience.
  1. The part of the superego in psychoanalysis that judges the ethical nature of one's actions and thoughts and then transmits such determinations to the ego for consideration.
  2. Obsolete. Consciousness.
One might lose Consciousness.

Driving along on a road in Iraq one might see in the distance a turban wearing individual who happens to be all alone and obviously lost.

One might get in range and shoot the rag head.

Why?

9-11

Are "we" doing any good 'over-there'?

Why yes. "We" are building schools for all those fatherless children.

I'm going to title this:

Coming Soon

to a neiborhood near you

The actual title will appear after the quote:

By Patrick Graham

09/23/07 "
Maclean's" -- 09/20/07 -- - It was embarrassing putting my flak jacket on backwards and sideways, but in the darkness of the Baghdad airport car park I couldn’t see anything. “Peterik, put the flak jacket on,” the South African security contractor was saying politely, impatiently. “You know the procedure if we are attacked.”

I didn’t. He explained. One of the chase vehicles would pull up beside us and someone would drag me out of the armoured car, away from the firing. If both drivers were unconscious—nice euphemism—he said I should try to run to the nearest army checkpoint. If the checkpoint was American, things might work out if they didn’t shoot first. If it was Iraqi . . . he didn’t elaborate.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prejudice

In its original usage, the word prejudice referred to a prejudgmental racial statement of ill doing, or a radical evaluation or decision made before the facts of a case could be properly determined and weighed.[1] This usage was subsequently broadened to include any unreasonable attitude that is unusually resistant to rational influence.[2]

For the purposes of this article, which is examining prejudice within a single, overarching, theoretical framework, it is important to define the word as follows: Interpersonal hostility that is directed against individuals based on their membership in a minority group[1]

Note: Any individual is first an individual and secondly an individual is a family member or thirdly an invividual is a member of some other group. Blaming, trying, convicting, and punishing individuals for thier proximity to a GROUP is:

WRONG

Be that as it is; i.e. WRONG, the following is a tally of confusion meant to unconfuse by some measure:

Iran is governed by people and Iran is SAID to be Shia

IRAN = Shia

Note: People live in Iran; not ants, not grains of sand, PEOPLE, men, women, children and life.

Saudi Arabia is said to be Sunni

Iran        Saudi Arabia

Shia           Sunni

Let's check those things first:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Iran+shia

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Iran+sunni

Sunni Muslims constitute approximately 8 percent of the Iranian population.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Saudi+Arabia+sunni

A majority of Saudi citizens are Sunni Muslims.

http://countrystudies.us/saudi-arabia/28.htm

Shia are a minority in Saudi Arabia, probably constituting about 5 percent of the total population, their number being estimated from a low of 200,000 to as many as 400,000.

Again:

Shia                   Sunni

Iran                   Saudi Arabia

How about a map?

Iraq is in the middle.

Saddam (Sunni) killed Kurds according to 'common' knowledge?

I'm looking for a puzzle piece to make all the confusion less confusing.

Iran is Shia while the other POWERS are Sunni and a mixture of Shia/Sunni/Kurdish

Iraq was Sunni under Saddam (who was financed by U.S. POWER) so the new puppet regime in Iraq is what?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Maliki+Shia&btnG=Search

Because...is anyone else as confused about who Bush is supporting in Iraq as I am: Sunni or Shia? Let's see: Maliki's Shia government is OK, ...

He is also the son-in-law of Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir As-Sadr. How about Mujahideen?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mujahideen

The mujahideen were significantly financed, armed, and trained by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) during the Carter and Reagan administrations, Saudi Arabia, the People's Republic of China, several European countries, Iran, and Pakistan (during the Zia-ul-Haq military regime). The Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was the interagent used in the majority of these activities to disguise the sources of support for the resistance.

Drawn from Pakistani as well as Afghan and Arab youths mostly educated at religious schools, the mujahideen and their patrons were to become influential actors in Pakistan.
Because Sunnis form a large majority in Pakistan, most of the mujahideen were Sunni too.

While the Taliban is made up mostly Sunni Muslim Pashtuns (also referred to as Pathans), the Northern Alliance includes Tajiks, Hazara, Uzbeks, and Turkmen. ...

The Taliban allowed terrorist organizations to run training camps in their territory and, from 1994 to at least 2001, provided refuge for Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda organization. The relationship between the Taliban and bin Laden is close, even familial—bin Laden fought with the mujahideen, has financed the Taliban, and has reportedly married one of his daughters to Mullah Muhammad Omar. The United Nations Security Council passed two resolutions, UNSCR 1267 (1999) and 1333 (2000), demanding that the Taliban cease their support for terrorism and hand over bin Laden for trial.

How George Bush Became The New Saddam

COVER STORY: Its strategies shattered, a desperate Washington is reaching out to the late dictator's henchmen.

This “Anbar Awakening” has been a slow process, beginning long before the recent U.S. “surge” that increased the number of American troops in Iraq by 30,000, to 180,000. But it is still a shaky union, a desperate marriage of convenience based on shared enemies: Iran, and the Sunnis’ former-friend-turned-foe al-Qaeda. Many of America’s new allies are former insurgents and Saddam Hussein loyalists (Saddam was a Sunni) who only a short while ago were routinely called terrorists, “anti-Iraqi fighters,” and “Baathist dead-enders.” They are suspicious of one another and strongly anti-American, although willing to work, for the moment, with the U.S. The leader and founder of the Anbar Awakening Council, Sheik Abdul-Sattar Abu Risha, was recently killed by a roadside bomb outside his house in Ramadi, clearly an inside job of some kind for which al-Qaeda claimed credit. Only 10 days earlier, Abu Risha had met with George W. Bush during the President’s visit to Iraq, the photo op of death, apparently.

Why was “sheik” Abu Risha so important? As the New York Times put it this morning, “Abu Risha had become a charismatic symbol of the security gains in Sunni areas that have become a cornerstone of American plans to keep large numbers of troops in Iraq though much of next year.”

In other words, Abu Risha was the PR hook used to sell the “success” of the surge.

The sheik wasn’t a sheik. He was a fake. While proclaiming to Rick that he was “the leader of all the Iraqi tribes,” Abu lead no one. But for a reported sum in the millions in cash for so-called, “reconstruction contracts,” Abu Risha was willing to say he was Napoleon and Julius Caesar and do the hand-shakie thing with Bush on camera.

Notably, Rowley and his camera caught up with Abu Risha on his way to a “business trip” to Dubai, money laundering capital of the Middle East.

It is the currency.
