I'm familiar with the beliefs and views of anarchy, and so are a few of my friends. It's really hard to say anything in type without sounding stupid, at least concerning this. So just understand that my exact thoughts might get lost in translation. My friends and I have decided to form an anarchist collective. That is, we want to teach those in our school about anarchy. What I want to know is what, exactly, should happen once my friends and I start spreading information about anarchy? I've got about three pages from one website about how to get one started, but I don't have the link right now. I'm kind of stuck...

Catterpatter, I may be able to help. The most obvious benefit of gaining the power of knowledge (concerning anarchy or concerning anything whatsoever) is the gaining of power. The most obvious problem when endeavoring to gain the power of knowledge (concerning anything whatsoever including anarchy) is error. If you are at a fork in the road and there are four paths to choose, then, which path do you embark upon? Suppose the four paths are labeled as such: Best possible path Good path Bad path Worst possible path The first thing that is obvious, again, is that one path is better than all the other paths even if the number of paths start out in the millions of possible choices. Again; the idea is to find the best path because the best path will be the most powerful path. I’m going a long way around setting up something important. Suppose, for a moment, that the signs on the paths have been switched, where, the best possible path says: Danger: Do Not Enter – Hard Work, Misery, Chaos, and LIVING HELL exist beyond this door. If you can imagine the above situation to be an accurate illustration of the current situation for many human beings, then, you can appreciate the second most obvious thing i.e. the problem. The solution is the power of knowledge and the problem is falsehood. So my long introduction intended to stress the need to avoid getting caught up with labels. Anarchy is a label. Anarchy is not the door, the path, the means, nor the end. Anarchy is simply a label. Anarchy is a principled approach to problem solving and the basic principle can be expressed in two ways: A. Gain more power B. Do no harm. The problem solving principle can also be expressed as: Every individual must be responsible for their own actions. I can see that the problem with words is a very big problem since words can distort the intentions behind the words. The problem solving principle can also be expressed as: No person can legitimately compel another person to act against any person’s will power. Note that I used the term; legitimate. Defending against a violent attack will act against a person's will power. That is a matter of necessity and not a matter of legitimacy. More on that later if you are interested. The problem solving principle is then, from this angle of view, and from this method of piecing words together into sentences, a simple and easy to remember term: Anarchy. The meaning of the term is to express an intention to legitimize each and every person as each and every person’s own BOSS, where, any pretender to the throne of one BOSS over another BOSS is expressly not a legitimate claim of POWER and that is where ANARCHY comes from i.e. NO RULERS. A lot of people are turned away from being their own boss, being responsible for their own power, and being the legitimate heir to their own throne, on their own kingdom, because people do try to RULE other people. The people who advocate one person being the BOSS of another person against the will of the subject being BOSSED are people who will not and cannot understand or legitimize concepts such as Anarchy; hence the term Anarchy is redefined and misrepresented as: CHAOS, where, people run amok in a state of absolute barbarity. Please excuse the long response. I thought it to be important to explain a few things before asking a few questions. 1. Have you read Josiah Warren’s work on principles? 2. Do you desire the freedom to earn a productive and happy life? 3. Do you know, for sure, that help is needed in any effort to gain power? The first question links me, and perhaps you, to Anarchist principles as they were discovered in America by an American Inventor. The second question brings us to an important agreeable direction which is agreeably the best possible direction. The third question intends to arrive at a more common understanding. I read the post and have found much to ponder in it. So many questions are nearly answered. Joe

Catterpatter, If you are interested, then, I can offer a simple approach to starting an agreeable association whereby everyone involved can benefit in a manner that inspires everyone to cooperate. The approach is a suggested first step, or rather focus, and it concerns mortgage interest on real property. The initial (first step) focus for the group is to remove mortgage interest payments as quickly as possible before moving onto any other group project. I’m adding this post and no more unless a response by you, or anyone else, inspires further participation in this topic, of yours, added by me. Reading is fundamental. If you are reading about the principles that have been well communicated by others and find yourself somewhat directionless, then, I think the principle of interest is a good starting point for you and your fellow lovers of liberty to aim your time and energy toward in a cooperative venture that will gain power independence for each member in your group and for your group as a whole. This focus on principles and interests can gain a huge measure of power-independence that can lead to further exponential growth of power-independence for all the cooperating members of your agreeable group. I do tend to babble on.
