Close Our Borders!

by Gary North

First: Borders

Gated communities abound. I ask: What are the gates for?

I hear: To keep them out.

Joe: Really?

PS: Yes, of course, they must be kept out.

Joe: How much does it cost?

PS: How much does what cost?

Joe: The gate?

PS: The dues are about a hundred tokens per month or more

Joe: What happens if you don't pay the dues?

PS: You are kicked out.

Joe: Then the gate, my friend, keeps you in.

PS: Get out

Joe: Voluntarily?

PS: Of course

Joe: You don't sound much like a friend.

Second: Political/Corporate/Military

Political:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS

Political Protective Squadron = SS
As the Nazi Party monopolized the political power in Germany, key government functions such as the law enforcement were simply absorbed into the SS, while many SS organizations became the de-facto government agencies. To maintain the political power of the Nazi Party, the SS was given authority to establish and run the secret police organizations, the Gestapo and the Sipo, effectively putting the SS above the law.

Corporate

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporation

Limited Liability Special Interest Powers = Corporation

A corporation is a legal person which, while being composed of natural persons, exists completely separately from them. This separation gives the corporation unique powers which other legal entities lack. The extent and scope of its status and capacity is determined by the law of the place of incorporation.

Military (Police)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military

Honorable Code of Law Enforcement = Military (Police)
Military Justice, as in the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Most nations have a separate code of law which regulates both certain activities allowed only in war, as well as provides a code of law applicable only to a soldier in war (or 'in uniform' during peacetime).
Excuse the bold type, please, I'm experiencing technical difficulties.

Gary North's article:

Then there is the Social Security card: no card – no job. I am old enough to have a Social Security card that has these words on it: "Not to be used for identification purposes." That world is long dead. The Social Security card is now a de facto national identity card. It is used to track my money and my purchases. Businesses are requiring me to give them my SS number. Ironic, isn't it? SS: Those initials symbolize the worst of the Nazi movement. "Your papers, please." (Gary North)
I am inclined to contend with this statement:

"Those initials symbolize the worst of the Nazi movement. " (Gary North)

I once thought that the German SS, Gestapo, or "Protective Force" were, in fact, the ultimate bad guys. I'm not going to argue the point. Bad guys are bad guys and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. I have my own test procedure for figuring out the bad guys. I ask an honest question. I get my answer.

Who are the worst bad guys?

I found this:

“Conditions were such that sickness was a pervasive fact of life among the inhabitants of Monowitz. The hospital wards built by I.G. were so inadequate that even the S.S. suggested additional wards be built. I.G. refused because of the cost.”

I found the above quote in the following book:

The Crime and Punishment of I.G. Farben by Joseph Borkin

I also found this:

“The construction of I.G. Auschwitz has assured I.G. a unique place in business history. By adopting the theory and practice of Nazi morality, it was able to depart from the conventional economics of slavery in which slaves are traditionally treated as capital equipment to be maintained and serviced for optimum use and depreciated over a normal life span. Instead, I.G. reduced slave labor to a consumable raw material, a human ore from which the mineral of life was systematically extracted. When no usable energy remained, the living dross was shipped to the gassing chambers and cremation furnaces of the extermination center at Birkenau, where the S.S. recycled it into the German war economy – gold teeth for the Reichsbank, hair for mattresses, and fat for soap. Even the moans of the doomed became a work incentive, exhorting the remaining inmates to greater effort.”

Who?

Whom?

It's the economy?
