The concept of Rule of Law, or The Golden Rule, or Do unto other people as you would have other people do unto you, or no one is above the law, or Natural Law, or God's Law, when in agreement, takes on many forms, that become obvious, and accurately perceivable, whereby those who find these viewpoints are those who find other people to share these viewpoints. Someone just now expressed a feeling of depression, and a question as to what to do about it. I responded: Sometimes I think depression is like suffering extended times when all your friends are busy, and no one has time for you and your depression. So acting happy, like putting on a show, can attract your friends to return and share the fun? Or, stare depression in the face and find nothing but your reflection in the mirror, and then try to make a friend of what you find? What is my moment of clarity approaching the edge of epiphany? The Golden Rule is founded upon the principle of higher standards of living and lower costs of living, or founding upon the principle of everlasting life worth living, as we who are worth living do the things we do, we affect our future selves. Our past selves did onto our present selves. Do we share the concept of reproducing, parenting, passing on, being a part of the workings of creation? Again, as much as my scientific brain function may want to question the validity of a Divine Creator, the evidence continues to prove the fact, leaving, perhaps, justifiable doubt focused only on the choices of words used to share the obvious estimates of accurate perceptions. The moment of clarity arrived at the moment I saw, once again, how the PRINCIPLE behind Rule of Law (Golden Rule) is reinforced even while I consider life alone, without any other human contact at all, ever, there remains to be the PRINCIPLE in operation, doing unto oneself in the present, that which you would have your past self do onto your present self, and do onto your future self, that which your future self could measurably appreciate your present self having done now. The PRINCIPLE of the concept even applies to individual cells in the body, as you would have a red blood cell do that which it must do for preserving and perpetuating good life (alive and prosperous living as apposed to dying and torturous death) rather than a red blood cell turning into a cancerous, parasitic, cell, destroying all but itself, and then having no host to keep itself alive. Going forth and multiplying does not mean, in a PRINCIPLED sense, to go forth and do unto others that which you would never do unto yourself, such as kidnapping, robbery, rape, enslavement, torture, and murder; unless, and here is how the PRINCIPLE is shown in REVERSE, unless the kidnaper, robber, rapist, slaver, torturer, and murderer WANTS to be, himself, or herself, kidnapped, robbed, raped, enslaved, tortured, and murdered, which is one way that insane people define the meaning of insanity. So, therefore, the only time the PRINCIPLE does not work, the only time the Golden Rule does not work, is when insane people are driven to act, and in that case the PRINCIPLE is not in the inane person's willful thoughts whereby the mind of the individual is no longer functioning rationally: it is insane.
