“In its territory, Venezuela possesses the largest reserves of petroleum of the world and the largest gas reserve on Continent; from the North Pole to Tierra del Fuego. We have the first gas reserve right here in the Caribbean, we want to share it with North, South, East and the West, but primarily with our neighbors and sister nations. It does not seem right to us that while we have so much gas and petroleum, there are frequent blackouts in Dominica. The North of Brazil does not have energy for its development, that Colombia does not have enough energy in the towns close to our frontiers, or in the Southern and Western parts of the country. Haiti does not have petroleum even for the electrical plants that provide energy to hospitals; nor does Grenada, these sister countries.  Venezuela has recovered its deep Bolivarian roots and rather than saying it, we want to demonstrate it actually by uniting together to be free ".
