Sergey, Thanks for the words. I won't expect such generosity every time. I think that your words compliment the words of Josiah Warren well, and to me there are accurately measurable examples of people employing their power effectively in reaching the goal of transferring power from targeted victims. So it is not at all a surprise to read about such people gaining access to power through the manipulation of mass media in all forms including music. I will however say that I did not know until know that these few very powerful (criminal) people had their hands so deep into the music that I like to hear. I like to hear music that compliments my life including music that inspires me to sit and dream, or contemplate random thoughts, but I also like to listen to music that reminds me of, brings back memories of, times in my past. I also like to listen to music that inspires me into eager action. I wonder if you may know anything about a specific type of sound that is generated by the absence of sound, or so I am told, when a person has an ear that no longer functions properly. I have this problem with my ear, which is a problem that is called tinnitus, which is said to be caused by a disease called Meniere's disease. There is a consistent mid range frequency sound heard by my brain that sounds like it is resonating inside the right side of my brain, sometimes reaching a high volume like a storm, and sometimes forgotten until I take notice of it again, but always resonating to some degree, as far as I can tell. The connection I had in mind for posting the information linked to Josiah Warren's work on musical notation, and the subject of math, was such that my own study of music is a study of math, and there are effective ways to communicate things through mediums of exchange, and then there are less effective ways to reach that goal. If the goal is to deceive, as you have shown, then music works for that purpose, and I think that was Warren's message too. If the goal is to make musical notation much more complicated than necessary, then the power of music will be unaffordable to those who can't afford to deal with the complexity. That is a familiar story. I wonder which version of the phrase was the original version, and I wonder if the phrase was copied, and altered, or merely reinvented in other words. I found this: Source work Fletcher of Saltoun, Selected Writings Music and Money are Mediums of Exchange, as is Math, as is Language.
