That is the main point of punctuation that I am doing now. I for the most part have felt that I have corrected most (not perfectly) of the "staying in the line" issues.
What I have been working on is making reading for the reader more understandable. At least that is what I am trying to do.
I am also trying to keep the same form though out the document.
Yesterday, on page 22 I ran across places with "? and with ?"
As you know, I have stated that ? goes inside the " but I ran across info yesterday that I think says otherwise, so I would like to know which is correct. It seems that American sand the Britians also follow different rules...
I will try not to get wrapped around the axle, being more precise than necessary. I think the most important at this point is to pick a way and be consistent.
So of course, I would like to pick the "right" way, so I am going ot research a little further.
I have been listenting to the Bengazi hearings this morning but am getting ready to pause that and start book work.
Would it be best if I didn't talk to you while you are trying to write a fiction?
