bear: I must answer, “No faith is not earned. Ephesians 2:8&9 (quoting so may not be perfect) “For by grace are ye saved THRU FAITH AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.”
Faith is a gift. We will not stand in our own merit. It will all be of God. I will not be able to stand there in his presence and say, “Look what I have done to get here.” Joe the point is: I can't get there alone. I am without hope in this world without Christ

How can you remain faithful if you do not resolve contradictions that may appear to be contradictions in time? You are not God, so you will not know everything. And I thought that faith was earned, not handed to you on a silver platter, am I mistaken?
