Page 79 ++++++++++++++++ [editorial note bear: I must answer, “No faith is not earned. Ephesians 2:8&9 (quoting so may not be perfect) “For by grace are ye saved THRU FAITH AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.” Faith is a gift. We will not stand in our own merit. It will all be of God. I will not be able to stand there in his presence and say, “Look what I have done to get here.” Joe the point is: I can't get there alone. I am without hope in this world without Christ bear, If you can please add that answer to that question if it is a reference to the book, my ears can listen, but I am only one lost soul. –Joe] +++++++++++++++++++++++ That looked clumsy to me with the Brackets. I did this: ++++++++++++++++++++++++ "...I have even had my faith shaken." How can you remain faithful if you do not resolve contradictions that may appear to be contradictions in time? You are not God, so you will not know everything. And I thought that faith was earned, not handed to you on a silver platter, am I mistaken? “No faith is not earned. Ephesians 2: 8 - 9 (quoting so may not be perfect) “For by grace are ye saved THRU FAITH AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.” Faith is a gift. We will not stand in our own merit. It will all be of God. I will not be able to stand there in his presence and say, “Look what I have done to get here.” Joe the point is: I can't get there alone. I am without hope in this world without Christ.” That answer to that question is added to this book, because my ears can listen, but I am only one lost soul. [Joe: additions to original] "But haven’t we talked about the cost of all the deceit?" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
