This is going somewhere...eventually, I promise. Because the word, lie, is used repeatedly in your posts I though it important to define what we mean by a lie. Here is my definition: A lie is a deliberate choice to mislead a target without notification. Thus, an actor on a stage, though he has chosen to mislead a target is not lying because the audience has notification. Or in a poker game, bluffing is not a lie because the rules of the game are notification. Shall we take this to be our definition of what a lie is?
