US wars leave 225,000 dead, cost $4.4 trillion: study
Anyone,
For those of us in the fact based living arrangement, as opposed to the alternative, which is based upon falsehood, the costs of unquestioned obedience to falsehood is accurately accounted in both general and specific measures. The above news item is a general measure. The specific measures occur at specific times, in specific places, where costs are borne at that time, in that place, by whomever bears that specific cost, to the degree that that individual truly knows the cost, as the facts are no longer, in any way, hidden from view, no longer cloaked behind any possible misrepresentation, and as real as reality can be, while that person pays that cost.
The tortured are tortured. The terrified are terrified. The murdered are dead. No lie can ease the torture. No lie can calm the terrified, as much as there is no rest for the weary, what is: is. Those who believe in resurrection of the dead, or the afterlife, or reincarnation can believe what may happen after the dead are dead, but while they are dead, while life was stolen from them, they remain dead, murdered, and not resurrected, and after life is what it is, while the bodies rot, fill mass graves, and the murderers continue to raise the price to be paid for by the increasing supply of ready victims, as the production of more lies continue flowing from the producers of those lies to the targeted, gullible, and stupefied victims, those not yet tortured enough, those not yet terrified enough, and those not yet murdered.
The numbers in the link are general, subject to subjective interpretation, error, miscounting, and most certainly lacking an accurate accounting of those who are most responsible, as well as lacking an accurate accounting of those who are merely supplying material and psychological support to that effort to cause those lies to perpetuate, the effort to continue those tortures, the effort to perpetuate terror, and the effort to massively murder the millions of innocent victims who are screaming of pain on their way to early mass graves.
Those numbers generally account for the real time tragedy, not a Hollywood movie, not a reality television show, not a future science fiction fantasy, not a story book drama, but actual human beings having their lives made incomprehensible miserable, and prematurely ended, for what?
It is for the profit of a very few people, and it is for costs to be borne by everyone else, costs to be paid for by everyone except those few who now command the power to make their victims believe, and even beg for, falsehood.
On the large list of lies are competitive examples that vie for the top position as the most costly lies, the lies that are the most costly to the victims, and inversely proportionally the most profitable for the legal criminals. I can offer a competitive list of those most costly, and those most profitable lies.

That lie runs so deep within the consciousness of all the victims that it is nearly impossible to help those infected victims, who are suffering from an unchallenged belief in that lie; I have tried, and so far, who, anywhere, anyone: who can claim to have managed victory over it?
The dollar is a fraud, yet all the victims use it, with unchallenged belief in its legitimacy as the true account of money world wide. How can such a powerful lie gain so much currency?
That brings me to the second biggest lie on my competitive list, offered to the readers, who can, if they choose, challenge my list with a more valuable, or more accurate, or higher quality, and lower cost list.

For those who harbor a belief in that lie, that big lie, a belief that the above lie is in any way, a measure of Liberty, I have news for you, that lie is a lie, it is not a measure of Liberty, it is the exact opposite, I offer two obvious examples of the facts for you, just in case your infection has not yet rendered you powerless:

Sorry to say, for the dupes, for the gullible, for the stupefied, you have been had, once there was a time when the honest productive American people commanded power over their own government, empowering their right to abolish criminal governments, but, alas, the legal criminals reclaimed that power, with lies, such as the lie that claims that such power requires a license, and is a power given to the honest productive people by the false authorities.
A.
People have the right, the power, to abolish criminal governments, a known fact.
B.
The criminal government enforcers claim the right to suppress the people who exercise their right to abolish criminal governments.
One is one thing, and the other is the opposite thing, and not knowing the difference is called ignorance. Victims, if they are anything, are ignorant, lacking the knowledge required to avoid victimization. If people choose to be victims, they are not victims, which is another lie, perhaps, something worth placing on a list of the most destructive lies.
For those who are unaware of the one obvious test case, whereby the legal criminals tested their power to suppress rebellion, after those same people had once conducted rebellion themselves, turning their coat from rebels against criminal governments, and then donning the cloak of legitimacy, hiding their true color, disguising their crimes; look here:

George Washington is famous for, if anything, leading the Rebel Army as those insurgents threw out the criminal government oppressors then known as The British, or Red Coats. That rebellion was conducted under an impromptu, and experimental, government, consisting of a Continental Congress, and the formation of The Articles of Confederation; which amounted to a Swiss Model Republic, or, a Democratic Federated Republican form of Government, and with an all volunteer army, the new experimental government power, managed to work for the people so that the people could win the war for independence, and win their Liberty.
Why do you think the British sent conscripted or mercenary troops to America? They were suppressing rebellion. The British were doing this:

Do you understand the full measure of the lie?

"Those who have committed no fault want no pardon," Washington said plainly. "We are only defending what we deem our indisputable rights."
That is George Washington, the Rebel Army Commander, speaking to the criminal invading army offering of pardons, for having failed to be obedient. Note the reference to "indisputable rights"?

Now note how George Washington, once turning his coat, once George Washington became, himself, a turncoat, his words record the opposite position, as he proclaimed authority to suppress rebellion, to become the oppressor, and to fail to acknowledge god given rights:

George Washington, President of the United States, do hereby command all persons, being insurgents, as aforesaid, and all others whom it may concern, on or before the 1st day of September next to disperse and retire peaceably to their respective abodes. And I do moreover warn all persons whomsoever against aiding, abetting, or comforting the perpetrators of the aforesaid treasonable acts; and do require all officers and other citizens, according to their respective duties and the laws of the land, to exert their utmost endeavors to prevent and suppress such dangerous proceedings.
Furthermore, the evidence available previous to that moment when George Washington, himself, suppressed that specific rebellion, a battle occurred between rebels and oppressors in Massachusetts, when, at that earlier time, no such National Consolidated Government existed, which was before the time when the legal criminals claimed the right to suppress rebellions Nation WIDE, since, at that earlier time, during that earlier rebellion, there was no Nation State, there was no Consolidated Government, there was then the same experimental Democratic Federated Republic that worked for The People in their efforts to throw out criminal governments, and that battle was to become known as Shays's Rebellion.
In chronological order:
1. War of Independence against The criminal British government under The Articles of Confederation
2. War of Independence in the separate and sovereign State of Massachusetts (later called Shays's Rebellion)
3. The Constitution enabling the suppression of rebellion, thereby rendering Liberty against the law.
4. The National Conscripted Army invading the separate and sovereign State of Pennsylvania to suppress rebellion against a monopoly banking fraud tax on a competitive currency then in the form of Whiskey.
The same forces were at play in Shays's Rebellion as where working during the later Whiskey Rebellion which George Washington suppressed with his conscripted "watermelon" army. There is a need for the reader to know those forces well.
The ex-revolutionary soldiers, and other people, on the frontiers were taxed by the new government powers as the new government powers were using their new powers to conduct aggressive wars for profit, and other things, and failing in those goals, the legal monetary units were used to pass on those costs to the tax payers, in the form of inflation, and so the ex-revolutionary soldiers, having just thrown out a criminal government, knew exactly what a criminal government does, and so they rebelled against the new criminal government, in Massachusetts, first, and in Pennsylvania next, and if you read history, there are many more examples of rebellions against criminal governments in other States, and there are examples of records of a State of Franklin, which later became Tennessee, involving similar battles between The People, including ex-revolutionary war volunteers, and new criminal governors, where the new criminal governors wasted no time taking up the same old monetary frauds used by every criminal government that has ever existed in recorded history, as far as I know.
So, there you have, a number of things to consider, in measuring the true cost of criminal governments, as they do what they are intended to do, and a history lesson to appraise the current situation by way of relative measure.

B. The People overpower and throw out the criminal government commanded by The British forces.
C. An experimental government by the people and for the people, also known as a Democratic Federated Government, that managed to throw out the most powerful army in the planet Earth, with an all volunteer army, with help from the French.
D. Examples of new efforts by criminals to suppress rebellion, as the rebels work against those criminals, where the rebels work to remove the criminals from their government, and in the case of the rebellion in Massachusetts, the rebels lost, and the criminals won, the battle, but the war was still in favor of The People, since it was not yet against the law to rebel against a criminal government.
E. Examples of new efforts by criminals to suppress rebellions includes a Secret Meeting among conspirators to hatch a plan to usurp the power of moral government and place in place of moral government a Nation State under the false guise of "Federalism", and that effort was led by the known British agent Alexander Hamilton, and the Banker fraud Robert Morris.
F. The new leader of the new Nation State, having secured the legal enabling document, suppressed, finally, and so far irrevocably, "so fatal a spirit" as this nonsense called LIBERTY.
And if the reader is not yet convinced of the true measure of this lie, I can combine lie #1, with lie #2, to illustrate how those two lies combine to make a more powerful combination, much more powerful than the two lies empower the liars separately, the power of the two lies are much greater than the sum of the two parts.

And you won't believe this, it can't be true, it can't be news that is welcome to any freedom loving, friend of liberty, not on the day that Independence is celebrated, but, the text is cut and pasted from the official source, so, you have to crawl back under the rock, dive back into the mire, to secure your state of willful ignorance, and so as to remain stupefied in the face of reality.
