As much as one might want, or wish, to create, use, and abuse falsehood - the inevitable will occur; reality imposes the truth. A name or label, a rose, is not the thing. The thing is living. The label is inert. Falsehood, a choice, can turn the past into a present confusion, a fear, and arm ‘the people’ toward a destructive future. I’ve been accused of being like Don Quixote. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Quixote I’ve been accused of being the kettle calling the pot; black. Sometimes I feel like chicken little; insane. What matters most is not my thoughts, nor my deeds, but rather the accumulated thoughts and deeds of all who endeavor to survive; if we are to survive another day. Looking back, with clear vision, the effort must include honesty, courage, and economy. Spending too much time looking back, knowing how inadequate ‘our’ history manages to define reality, is economically unreasonable; melancholy at best. Watching a horror movie, drama, a sad song, the act can inspire depression; for the sake of depression. We need to eat. We need clothes; real clothes that keep the heat in. Honesty arms us with clarity. Courage allows us to be honest; with ourselves. All that is nice or not so nice depends upon current reality; what is the cost? The cost of dishonesty and cowardice is nothing; not anything in the past. The cost is null; of no consequence whatsoever. Reality will teach. The cost will be borne; soon enough. Wouldn’t it be nice to differ the cost; for one more day? One more hour One more minute Another second Spending too much time looking ahead is as unreasonable as dwelling upon the past. The present concern is this: Economics The idea is to act rightly. The idea is to avoid acting wrongly. Acting rightly improves. Acting wrongly destroys. Acting rightly reduces the cost. Acting wrongly increases the cost. What is the cost of imagination? Executive order 1: Invest in a means by which sewer water can be consumed as fuel to make even more fuel. That is an economical executive order. Imagine such a unit being purchased by ‘the governor’. That unit begins to turn ‘the people’s’ shit into gas for their cars. The governor declares, as they so often do, that all shit will be turned into fuel and all new fuel will be issued to ‘the people’ at a cost! The people have to pay ‘the governor’ half the current price of fuel for each gallon of shit fuel (it is cleaner than gasoline according to the science). The governor is a benevolent sort. Executive order 2: All shit fuel profits will be spent exclusively on the purchase of individual shit fuel units for each person in the realm. Each new individual shit fuel unit can be purchased at half the cost of the current refrigerator (more or less depending on the cost of making new shit fuel units with shit fuel profits). Objection! OH fearless leader. Let me lick your boots; please. Might I point out, while licking your boots, that once everyone has their own shit fuel unit, then, we will receive no more profits from selling the shit fuel? Is that not killing the goose that lays the golden egg? No. I’ll still buy fuel. I’m too stupid to get one myself. Stop licking my boots. It’s disgusting. Besides this job sucks and I’d rather be Hang Gliding. Leave the problems associated with shearing the sheep up to the criminals. They know how to do that best. Not me. ![]() http://www.magnegas.com/ http://hytechapps.com/index.html http://www.savefuel.ca/ Last edited on Wed Apr 26th, 2006 02:17 pm by Joe Kelley |
