Oil Power Struggle
I stopped reading at the following quote:
In reality there is no evidence to suggest that change brought about by people power in Arab states would lead inevitably to rule by, or even popular support for, extremist and violent forces which use and abuse Islam in much the same way as Zionists use and abuse Judaism. From Tunisia and Eygpt in particular there is a great deal of evidence to the contrary (but as I will indicate later, everything will ultimately depend on whether or not policy makers in Washington D.C. put America on the right side of history).
My error. I read further, to this point:
If Arab push came to American shove, Arab leverage options include withdrawing ambassadors from America; stopping assistance for propping up America’s ailing economy; and a credible threat to use the oil weapon. (As I have written in the past, the Arabs would not have to turn off the oil taps. A credible, behind-closed-doors threat to do would be enough. As I have also written in the past, if the boot was on the other foot – if the Zionists were in the Arab position, they would have played the oil card long, long ago).
That writer doesn't see the power struggle accurately, it seems to me, and I can explain my version in my own words.
Zionists have the power they must have in order to get away with torture and mass murder. This is a documented fact, a measurable reality, all anyone has to do, if they want to measure the truth of this fact, is to count the tortured bodies, and then follow the money trail from each tortured or murdered body back to the person or person's who set those tortures and those murders in motion, who ordered the tortures, and who ordered the murders, once that is done the proof stands, stinking, just like the tortured and murdered bodies stink to high heaven, rotting, decomposing, as they are bulldozed into mass graves.
One tortured body is sufficient to prove the facts, if anyone wanted to prove the facts, and one murdered body investigated accurately proves the same facts, and yet there are thousands of tortured and murdered bodies left unjustified, excused, apologized for, covered up, and criminalized by the supposed people who are responsible for such mass torture and mass murder.
Zionists are people who plan on and then follow through with the plan to torture and mass murder anyone presenting an obstacle in their way as they accomplish their stated goals - they leave a paper trail.
If readers don't want to know the truth, they can certainly figure out how to avoid it.
Zionists have access to the power that can be called The Dollar Hegemony, and from that power Zionists finance their march toward their stated goal as they torture and mass murder the obstacles, human beings, babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, men, women, old men, old women, and other residents living on the lands that are coveted, and sought after, by the Zionists, according to the Zionists, the specific Zionists who plan on and then follow through with the plan, to occupy the occupied territories.

When Zionists gain access to The Dollar Hegemony the plan follows through as planned and the bodies pile up.
Don't follow the money, don't follow the paper trail, and you can thereby avoid the truth, and you can continue to be in the dark - ages.
The Dollar Hegemony needs control over the oil so as to maintain control over that which is known as The Global Reserve Currency.
The Chinese are taking over The Global Reserve Currency.
The actual people who will control The Global Reserve Currency will actually be the most powerful people alive, again the facts, and finding the actual names of those people can be something just done, or undone, as the case may be.
That leads to the question of what The People who occupy land that happens to be oil land will do with the oil if The People regain control of it.
There are precedences, past cases, by which a future reality could be accurately estimated.

The People sell the oil and The People collect surplus wealth in the form of money or purchasing power, and then The People invest in things with that new source of power.
Why would The People threaten to cut off oil to American consumers in the event of The People regaining control of their political power in Egypt?
The quote in question:

What does that writer mean when that writer uses the word Arab?
Does he mean the Arab people or does he mean The Dollar Hegemony employed Arab leaders?
Oil profits go to The Dollar Hegemony, and The Dollar Hegemony invests that power to purchase, with dollars, to employ puppet regimes over places where oil can be pumped out of the ground.
Puppet regimes can also be Arab.

I will re-read up to that quote and offer comment following that process while seeking an answer to the question concerning which meaning does the writer attach to the word Arab in context within his writing up to that quote.
If change brings Arab governments which must and do reflect the wishes of their peoples, those governments will be under great and perhaps irresistible pressure to use their leverage in a serious effort to oblige the U.S. to use its leverage to cause Israel to end its occupation of all Arab land grabbed in 1967.

I don't think such things. Why would anyone threaten anyone ever? What would be the point? Why would The Arabian People, Arabs, threaten to cut off their nose to spite their faces? If they gain power by selling oil then it makes no sense to threaten someone with the threat of no longer selling oil, which amounts to no longer gaining power.
A. If you don't do what I tell you, I'm going to make myself weaker, I'll do it, don't make me do it, you better do what I say, if you don't, I'll make myself weaker.
B. I will sell more of my oil to China at a greater discount, and I will sell less of my oil to U.S.A. Inc. LLC The Dollar Hegemony, at a much higher price.
What will U.S.A. Inc. LLC The Dollar Hegemony do then: buy oil from Hugo Chavez?

Zionists left holding the bag, as power flows from U.S.A. Inc. LLC The Dollar Hegemony to whomever or whatever gains The World Reserve Currency Status Power thing may be akin to cornering a desperate mass murderer leaving one option.
Zionists have a Doom Day Button, once pushed, Hitler's Nazi's pale on the scale of evil, ever forgotten as a foot note in history.
Compassion for a person, Jew, Gypsy, Pole, whomever, tortured by the Nazi torturing mass murderers is not different that compassion for a person, Palestinian, Arab, Taxi driver, whomever, tortured by The Dollar Hegemony or Zionist torturing mass murderers.
The worst of the evil examples of human garbage behind The Dollar Hegemony are probably hedging their bets and moving operations, as best they can, to China, while the worst of the evil examples of human garbage behind Zionist "land grabbing" (a euphemism for Wars of Aggression for Profit) are what: a wild card?
Human beings just recently gained the power to end the human species at the push of a button, it may be a good idea not to forget that fact.
The writer of the report on the situation in Egypt concludes:
The right side would see America using its leverage to oblige Israel to end its occupation. This would open the door to a real peace process (actually the first ever) and create an environment in which there would be no place for Muslim extremism.
The wrong side would see America continuing with the policy of support for Israel right or wrong and being complicit in its defiance of international law and war crimes. This would open the door to the forces of violent Islamic fundamentalism and set in motion a confrontation that could go all the way to a clash of civilizations.
Which option will America choose if crunch time comes?
America, as far as I know, and I live here, is a place where American people have absolutely no control over The Dollar Hegemony.
I know this because I ran for congress and I learned, first hand, how much control a person living in America has over The Dollar Hegemony - none.
I know this because I hand delivered a legal notice, Redress of Grievances, to the current "Member of the House" and that legal criminal illegally failed to respond to that legal notice.
Which America does the writer intend to point at, to accurately identify, and to accurately communicate to the reader, when the writer uses the word America?
A. The legal criminals running U.S.A. Inc. LLC The Dollar Hegemony
B. The People living in America

Which option will America choose if crunch time comes?
If the supply of oil is cut off, then Americans can afford to invest in solar powered transportation, and vertical farming if needed, and American can boom the American economy on those new markets alone.
A. Oil Doom Day
B. WWIII, the last one.
Oil doom day is only bad for those people who have no way out of that doom day, people who are incapable of adaptation, people whose whole lives are invested in that single, myopic, power.
Arab people, like everyone else, are only dependent upon oil power up to the point at which oil power becomes obsolete, too expensive compared to the competition, and currently the competition is 80% less expensive.
All one has to do to see, is desire vision, because that which can be seen is in plane sight, easy to see, in the light, out in the open, and not covered by any shadow whatsoever.
