http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul318.html While I read the latest scoup from the United States of Amercia above, and perhaps as the reader joins the process, the following can aid in 'context'. http://www.issues2000.org/TX/Ron_Paul.htm The “context” above includes ‘fact’ i.e. voting record and ‘opinion’ i.e. the meaning behind the vote. I found a ‘self’ test on that site. I didn’t get past the first question concerning abortion. The ‘self’ test is hardly a measure of individual perception, rather, it is a ‘how well do you fit into our box’ questionnaire. I think that the Congressman’s job is similar in that respect. How well does Ron Paul fit into the Box? Human beings are unique as a species. We the People are ‘blessed’ with the capacity for reason. That, my friends, is a double edged sword. No other species, as far as I can tell, are capable of creating the mass hypnosis that we perceive as “falsehood’. “I have a dream” says one of our species. It might go like this: Travel to the moon. End crime. Etc. Some dreams work out; others tend to create nightmares. The sword keeps swinging; slicing, dicing, tearing limbs from bodies, tearing dreams from minds. When, my fellow Americans, will the sword swing, once again, the right way? Ron Paul: Perhaps then we will question the wisdom of an open-ended, vague “war on terror” and the realities of trying to remake whole societies in our image.
