Chris Hedges: Bush’s Nuclear Apocalypse
This is problematic.
Rather than dive into all the reasons why the article linked is problematic I am going to comment on my current world view in a short and easy to read little essay and the reader can compare the above link to the words now flowing like a ship on the ocean.
Iran is a group of old people, young people, and people as yet not born. That group of people called Iran will survive or they will all die and Iran will cease to exist. That is problematic. The fact is that America is in the same boat as Iran. If Iran goes, then, we go too. The days of exterminating entire countries (wiping them off the map) are gone. You do not have to believe me. You will think about it some out of pure personal self interest or you will suppress your conscience into a state of complete stupidity and call it ignorance – which is stupid. You cannot unknown something known.
When the group of people called Iran does survive, then, that group will pick themselves up and continue trading with everyone else on the planet except the American dictators who are trying to enforce a money monopoly called Dollar Hegemony. Among ‘everyone else’ is a place called China.
Here is what may be a good thing to keep in mind after the Iran quagmire plays out:
If you think it is silly to even consider going to war with Iran while war with Iraq is failing to make any sense whatsoever, then, get prepared for more nonsense when the war drums start for the coming war with China.
The Dollar Hegemony people will ask the American labor force to get on board and no one will listen. At that time the Dollar Hegemony will be suffering from their own self-fulfilling prophecies as they sink in their own dooms day.
Don’t send your sons and daughters and don’t invest in Dollar Hegemony.
If you do nothing more than buy solar panels then you will at least keep true power flowing in your own home even after the Dollar Hegemony POWER has gone down with the ship in a last blaze of fanatical glory.
