Ingrained disrespect for authority.
Science does not prove that God does not exist. See?
When science can prove where and how the first form of matter originated, then science may find where that first form of matter came from; see?
Another way to look at this science versus religion argument is to stop arguing and find one irrefutable fact.
I offer:
Perception is fact.
Even if you argue that perception is not a fact, think about this, you prove that fact.
