How about speed? What is the slowest that an object can move from one place to another place? In order to better understand the significance of the question please consider the actual velocity you are traveling from one place to another place. How fast is the planet Earth spinning? How fast is the planet Earth traveling around the Sun? How fast is the Solar System traveling around the Galaxy? Who fast is the Universe expanding if, as some say, the Universe is accelerating and has been accelerating for a long time? Even a very slow but constant rate of acceleration will being going very fast if the duration of time is long. What is the rate of acceleration that the Universe has been expanding? What is the time duration at which the Universe has been accelerating? What is the velocity of the fastest moving object in the expanding Universe? Is the speed of light comparable to the boundary of the Universe? How small is the smallest thing, how large is the largest thing. If the fastest thing is light, what is the slowest thing? |
