Things are feeling better on the homefront so I thought I'd begin trying to read thru again in my down time. I cannot promise much down time at the current, but I will begin to make it a priority instead of taking a nap due to sheer mental/physical exhaustion. I think I am past that phase now.
I see you have left me some questions so I will begin to answer those now.

I think those words could be rephrased or as you have suggested those words can be added to a larger context with another sentence or paragraph added to the book.

4. The change sounds good to me:
If you were on a Jury (a real Jury, not a counterfeit one), you could question anyone whose profession is relevant to the case, and you could judge the case on professional evidence discovered during the case, and then actual people could be held accountable for those crimes.
