That (above) is cut and pasted from the .pdf
The cut and paste below is an edit I did to the word file, to match up the numbering as it should be when each page (even blank pages) are Roman Numerals? I won't try to convert the word file to .pdf unless you respond with the OK to do so, along with a reminder on how to do it, or where I need to go to get the instructions on how to convert. I am also keeping track of any other things I may yet find.

When I look at BOTH the word and pdf copies of FINAL EDIT bear3d

I am seeing

I do not think the first blank page prior to the Joe Quotes cover page should be counted in numbering.  So I am thinking that

Joe Quotes Title page is unnumbered page i

then there is a blank unnumbered page ii

then there is Dedication unnumbered page iii

then there is a blank unnumbered page iv

then there is Contents unnumbered page v

then there is a blank unnumbered page vi

then there is Acknowledgements numbered page vii (currently reads viii)

then there is Foreword numbered page viii (currently reads ix)

then there is Introduction numbered page xi (currently reads xii)


I think TOC should read as follows:

Contents
Acknowledgments .............................................................................. vii
Foreword ........................................................................................... viii
Introduction ......................................................................................... xi

I think the error is in the numbers I have at the bottom of the page because I should not have started numbering with the first blank page (which is more of a cover sheet), but Joe Quotes should be number i.

Does that sound right to you?
