To me the principle at work there: is the concept of any willful injury to anyone by anyone, is an injury to everyone. The innocent victim on the table being tortured right now is not happening in your kitchen. And the fact that it isn't happening in your kitchen is merely incidental. You are next. You are paying for that torture, so you are next, unless you hire on as the torturer, and even then you are only delaying your turn on the torture table. There will always be a more powerful criminal to take your place when the number of ready victims becomes scarce.
