OK, my view on that: well, life is short, and you can't expect to make short cuts, and you are not a teenager with teenager capacity to learn new things, and life is short, and you have responsibilities of parenting. Very high priority stuff, so forget about reaching ahead too far all at once. And in my opinion, you can step back, see how the new keys work, apply the Boyd strategy to many things; Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act, and digest, and process, and above all it seems to me, maintain that balance, that "pursuit of happiness" in this "animated contest of freedom" while it exists as it exists. And to me, what you will find is improvement because you find ways to improve, and you no longer settle for less. Even if external things are overwhelming, at the very least, you find how to slow down the injury which is a relative improvement. And YOU control that which is in your power to control because you are now, at least, taking on those responsibilities; those responses that you are able to act out in fact.
