JOE,

I don't understand which sentences you are talking about. I don't think I have ever understood, but I never asked. I always just tried to figure it out myself, but never can. So...I better ask in case other people are as dull as I am :)

So my power to convey meaning with English and to do so accurately has been, once again, exemplified by the first sentence: poorly. I have a hard time communicating. Then the second sentence intends to show a measure of improvement (in other words), an effort to sharpen the tool.
